Making a Cake and a Birthday Party
Alex's POV:
I came home from the studio and the house was empty, i wondered were Sophie was but shrugged it off and went to take a shower. After i showered i went back to the livingroom and started to watch tv. A little while later Sophie came home with Melinda and they both had a bag filled with stuff. They both waved at me and then i watched them run to the kitchen and followed them.
"What are you two up to?" i asked walking in
"Making a birthday cake for Ashlee for her surprise birthday party tommarow" Sophie said pulling stuff out of the bag
"Why?, i thought Zack was making on" i asked
"Well he was gonna, but then yesterday when we were talking about it i told him about how i used to work at a bakery. Then he asked if i'd make one for her since i know how to make awesome cakes. And i told him i'd love to and that i'd make it after work, so thats what were doing" she said
"Can i help?" i asked
"Sure, can you help Melinda unpack stuff?. Im making the cake mix from scratch" she said
"Alright" i said and went to help Melinda
Sophie made the cake batter and put it in two circle cake pans and then put them in the oven. While we were waiting for the cake to cook we hungout and watched tv. Thirty minutes later when they were done Melinda took them out, they were perfect and smelled great.
"Alright now we give them some time to cool and then frost them" Sophie said
"Okay, so i'll just leave you guys to it then" i said
"Okay" she said and i went into the livingroom
A hour later i went into the kitchen to see the cake, it was awesome. They two layers were frosted with blue frosting, i laughed because there was a lot of food coloring bottles on the counter. The small layer was on top and the cake had 24 candles going around the top and bottem layer. It was the best cake ive ever seen.
"Babe, Melinda. Its amazing!" i said
"Really?, you think Ashlee will like it?" Sophie asked
"Totally" i said
"I hope so" she said
The next day it was Ashlees party, Sophie picked up Ashlee from Zacks since she was over hanging out with him and they went out to do stuff so she wouldnt see the surprise. So Jack came over to help get the cake to Zacks. We got to Zacks and brought the cake inside, he loved it and thought she'd love it to. We set up for the party and people started arriving, they all liked the cake to. After a while i texted Sophie to come to Zacks because we were ready and twenty minutes later we saw them pull in the driveway. We all got in the kitchen and waited.
"Zack?, im back" Ashlee said
"Kitchen" Zack said
"Hey babe what-" she started but got cut off
"Surprise!" we all yelled
"Oh my gosh!, this is awesome!" she said
"Happy birthday babe" Zack said hugging her
"Awww thanks" she said
"Like your cake?, Sophie and Melinda made it" he said
"Its so pretty!, thanks you guys!" she said and hugged Sophie and Melinda
"Your welcome" they said
I love surprise partys!...
