This is based off a true story. Saturday, Jaunary 8, 2011, Jared Loughner opened fire in a Safeway parking lot, shooting 20 people. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was critically wounded with a bullet through the brain. He killed 6 people, including 9 year old Christina Taylor Green.

This is about that day, though I have added a character. Chailyn is my own invention, she is a figment of my imagination.

I've also never met Christina or any of the other victims and people who were there on that tragic day.
