I'm a Teenage Girl Teaching at an All Boys School for Delinquents

“Why you lookin’ so scared?” He asked rounding the corner. I scowled,

“I told you to go to principles.” He shrugged,

“I’ll go eventually. I just wanted to find out why the sudden change in mood. I have to say though, I should’ve seen it coming, you’re just too obvious.” I decided to play dumb,

“What are you talking about Maxi?” I asked, he rolled his eyes,

“Geez, are you insulting my intelligence? I’m not a complete dip-shit.”

“Language.” He sighed,

“Whatever.” There was silence, I sighed,

“Why were you eave’s dropping?” He chuckled,

“I just told you.” I looked at the ground,

“You can’t tell anyone.” He didn’t answer so I looked up,

“I won’t tell.” I looked at him suspiciously,

“The catch?” He chuckled,

“You know me too well. Alright,” His face turned serious, something I’ve hardly ever seen on him,

“Here’s the deal. Good grades.” I narrowed my eyes,

“What do you mean?” He rolled his eyes,

“You give me good grades and I won’t tell, if I get one more bad report then Mr. Bitch and Mrs. Bitch, A.K.A my parents, are gonna ship me off to some boarding school.” I growled,

“Fine.” I hissed angrily, “Go. To. The. Principles. NOW!” I yelled, he smirked,

“Yea yea whatever.” After I escorted Maxi to the principal’s office I hurried back to my classroom. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest because it was beating so fast, If I told Sean would he return my feeling? Would he hate me? Can I trust Maxi? What if he’s telling the principle now? What if I get- I shook my head, what am I doing? I can trust my student… can’t I? I bit my lip as I entered my classroom. Blake saluted to me,
“We’re all done Teach.” I nodded,

“Ok, we were going to actually play instruments today but unfortunately, because of what happened you’ve been stuck doing paperwork.” There were some disappointed mumbles around the classroom,

“So,” I continued, “I’ve decided that for the rest of the week, we’ll be working on the instruments unless I’m told to make you do paperwork.” The whole class cheered, I laughed and the bell rang. As the students filled out I couldn’t help but notice that some of the students who hated each other’s guts before were chatting happily. I grinned, just what I was looking for. I sighed and started to pack up some of the mess that they made,

“Would you like some help?” I heard a voice outside ask; I looked over at the doorway to see Sean leaning on the doorframe. I felt my face heat up so I looked at the floor,

“Uh. Sure.” He nodded and walked in, he surprised me by closing the door. I couldn’t help but feel an erg to confess to him. I ignored it though and continued cleaning. When I was finished I realised that I would now have to probably have to thank him… which includes talking to him…. I swallowed and forced a smile, I turned around, he looked up then frowned,

“Forced smiles don’t look as good as your real ones.” My smile dropped slightly. What? He knew it was forced, but, even weirder; he just complemented me on my smile. I swallowed again,

“Uh, before… before in the nurses, you were going to say something?” I opened my mouth but no words came out. Sean sighed and stood up,

“I think I have a pretty good idea, or, I hope I do.” I stiffened as he approached me. He stopped right in front of me,

“A-Alexis.” He started,

“Hm.” I murmured, afraid that my voice would crack, he hesitated,

“I lo-love you….” I couldn’t respond, I was shocked. I then realised that he was waiting for an answer,

“Oh! Uh!” I started sounding a little flustered; I took in a deep breath, what’s there to worry about now? He returns my feelings! I looked him in the eyes,

“I love you too Sean.” Relief washed over his face, he sighed and smiled,

“You don’t know how much I’ve wanted to hear that.” I frowned which made him frown,

“But, you’re a student… I’m a teacher.” He nodded,

“I understand if you don’t want to see me because of thi-“ I shook my head then smiled,

“I’m just saying that we’re gonna have to be rather secretive about us like if this is gonna work.” He smirked,

“Miss Loft has a bad side. Who knew?” I shrugged. My breath hitched when I realised how close we were standing. I quickly took a step back, Sean looked pretty hurt but his eyes showed understanding. I ran my fingers through my hair, the confidence I had suddenly gone,

“So….. We’re going out now?” I asked, Sean smirked and nodded. He looked around and found a piece of paper; he quickly scribbled down something, then folded it and handed it to me. I looked at it curiously; I froze when Sean kissed the top of my head,

“See you soon Lexi.” He whispered then left the room.
