Same Girls, Two Lives

Two years later

-Stacie's Point of view-

A lot has happened in two years. I graduated college early since Matt, Brian, Jimmy, Johnny and Zack were all getting ready to go on a tour around the states and I wanted to be able to help my sister out. Sammy and Matt got married. It was a beautiful moment and Lily is now two years old. I've been doing some photography things on the side and of course Brian asked me to go on tour and take pictures of them being on stage and performing. I told him I couldn't because Lily needs both me and Sammy when Matt is gone. He understood and off he went on the bus after some good bye sex.

Brian and I have been strong for two years and I also found out some news that I know he'll love as soon as he is back from tour. I haven't told any one not even my own sister who can read my mind and communicate with me through it., but before that Zack and I made up it's still awkward around him but we get along so there is no awkwardness with everyone else. OKay now the news, I found out 4 weeks ago that I was expecting and I couldn't wait to fly out and see Brian and surprise him with the news.

I was currently in my sister's living room next door watching TV on September 11 2001 and playing with Lily. Sammy was in the kitchen cooking us lunch and whatever she was making was making me feel nausea.

"Ant anty." Lily said as she was trying to get my attention while I was trying to hold back the vomit.
"Yes honey bunny." I said.
"Ook." She said as she pointed to the muted TV. I turned an looked as saw one of the twin towers in flames and the other one smoking.
"Sammy." I said as I unmuted the TV and Sammy came in. We both gasped knowing our boys were in New York.

"The towers have been hit. So many people are in there trying to get out, it's chaos in the streets." The news person said as he coughed. We people running in the streets trying to get away from it. Soon the first tower was starting to cave in on the bottom of the building. I pulled out my phone and quickly dialed Brian's number.

They had blocks and blocks roped off and I hoped Brian and Matt weren't any where near there since Brian did say they were going to go sight seeing.

"Please be okay, please answer I just need to hear your voice. I can't be alone with this baby coming." I said completely forgetting Sammy was standing in the room with me starring at the TV.
"Baby?" Lily said and I covered my mouth hoping Sammy didn't hear me but her eyes went from the TV to me while her phone was in her hand dialing Matt.

"Baby?" Sammy mimicked her daughter's tone.
"Yeah, I'm about four weeks pregnant." I said. Sammy hugged me and then turned to my phone.
"Then you better get ahold of that father of the baby while I get ahold of my husband." Sammy said dialing her phone again as Lily rubbed her eyes. Sammy picked Lily up and carried her to her bedroom as I sat on the couch looking at the screen. I even dialed Zack and he wasn't answering and neither was Jimmy.

"Come on answer your phone please, I just need to know you are okay." I said as I heard a cough, "Bri!"
"Baby." he coughed in my ear.
"Are you okay?" I asked him feeling relief that he was okay.
"Just got some dust going in my mouth but I'm okay, a medic checked me out on their way to the towers and just told me to drink water and get inside." Brian stated as he coughed again and I heard an elevator ding.
"Are you in the hotel?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I'm far away from there and in the hotel. Sorry I didn't answer the four other times you called, I had no service where I was standing." Brian said and then I heard Jimmy's voice.
"I'm just glad you are okay. Where is Matt?" I asked.
"I lost him when a cloud of dust and other shit came flying at us." Brian said.
"I hope he answers or you guys get a call from him." I said.
"Me too baby, me too." Brian said.

"Are you talking to my Stacie?" I heard Jimmy ask.
"Yes I am." I heard Brian's annoyed tone and water running.
"I was so worried." I said to him.
"I was worried too, I don't think you should fly out, we aren't even flying home we are going to drive our bus that your dad got us all the way home." Brian said.
"Well I wanted to fly out because I had something to tell you." I said.
"It's not safe all those people in those planes and what if it happens while you are on the plane. I can't risk thinking about that please, I'll see you in like two weeks tops." Brian said.
"Okay, you're right." I said to him.
"So why were you worried and what did you want to tell me?" Brian asked.
"I was worried because I thought I would have to raise our baby alone." I said to him.
"Babe, you wouldn't have to raise Horse or your actual Horse alone, wait, you don't mean?" Brian started to say.
"What do I mean?" I asked him.
"I'm going to be a dad?" Brian asked.
"Yes." I said. Then I heard the phone some how switch hands and Brian in the back ground.

"I'm going to be an uncle again!" Jimmy asked me.
"Yes, you're going to be an uncle again." I said and laughed as the two crazy men in my life cheered.
"Can you put my boyfriend back on the phone please, I almost had a heart attack when I knew him and Matt were going out sightseeing." I said to Jimmy.
"Yes you can but I call dibs on god father." Jimmy said handing Brian's phone back to him.
"Well now I want to get home as soon as possible so I can see the ultrasound, just the day I was talking to Matt how you would be a great mom and how I want a family with you and I'm getting that. I guess our goodbye sex was a real good bye that I left a present with you." Brian said which made me laugh.
"That you did. Now rest your voice and drink plenty of water, I'll call you later." I said.
"Alright, I love you so much." Brian said.
"I love you too." I said as we blew kisses. I hung up the phone with him and walked up the stairs to Sammy and Matt's room and saw Sammy sitting on the bed.

I went over and sat down and put my arm around her and pulled her close to me.

-Sammy's Point Of View-

I was so glad my sister was pregnant, that's all she has been talking to me about was about her wanting a family with Brian. Now I was sitting here worried about my husband who was in New York over by there sightseeing with Brian. I could tell Stacie finally got ahold of Brian and was on the phone with him but I couldn't reach Matt.

I was so worried that something was wrong with him and that he was seriously hurt. I started to think back to how a year ago we got married and of course it was all over the place because a LaFerniere was getting married. That was one of the happiest days of my life, walking down the isle in my beautiful wedding dress with Amy holding Lily in her arms and Matt standing in his tux with a huge smile on his face.

Flash Back to a year ago

"Sammy, come on don't be nervous, you're only getting married to trashy door boy." Stacie said which made everyone crack up.
"So tell me again how you fell in love with someone who ran into a trash can?" Mikayla asked me.
"Because anyone who runs into a door and a trash can is a total turn on." I said with a giggle as I looked down at Max who was looking at himself in the mirror.

"Momma." he said as he pointed to his suit
"So Handsome." Mikayla said to him picking him up. I looked at Lily who had her dress on and smiled.
"You look beautiful Sammy." Johnny's girlfriend Lacey said.
"Thanks." I said as I looked at myself once Stacie finished zipping up my dress.
"I'm so glad you guys became my friend and that Stacie and Brian are finally together." Randy said. I didn't have many friends besides my sister in law, Stacie and Johnny's girlfriend so I called Brian's old roomate from college and asked if she wanted to be in the wedding. She of course said yes.

I bent down and buckled up my shoe and made sure my S necklace looked perfect. Stacie helped me put on my veil and handed me my flowers.
"Beautiful sis." Stacie said and dabbed her eyes with a napkin.
"Don't you start crying now." I said.
"But you look so pretty." Stacie said.
"I can't have you crying, you have my vows memorized in your head so I can read them from there." I said to her.
"I also have them right here." Stacie said grabbing her boob. I laughed and there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it." Stacie asked.
"Your brother." Mikey said.
"Dada!" Max said running to the door and opening it up with the help of Stacie. Mikey walked in and smiled at me.
"Wow, you look beautiful." He said looking at me as the photographer took pictures of us.
"Dad is waiting to come in and we have to line up." Mikey said holding his arm out for Stacie and Mikayla to take. They each took an arm and Stacie help Lily walk while Mikayla did the same with Max.

"Good luck dealing with my brother for the rest of your life." Amy said hugging me as Lacey and Randy walked out and lined up with everyone. Finally my dad came in and smiled.
"Wow, I actually thought Stacie would be the first one of you guys to get married being the youngest one but it's you." Dad said.
"Gee thanks dad have some faith in me." I laughed as he kissed my cheek.
"Are you ready to drop the LaFerniere name and become a Sanders?" Dad asked me.
"More than ready." I said as I heard the music start knowing everyone in the wedding party was heading out and seeing Matt before me.

Soon we were standing in the hallway in front of two doors. I took a deep breath to steady my nerves and looked at my dad.

"Are you ready?" he asked.
"As I said before more than ready." I said smiling as the doors opened and we could hear the sound of here comes the bride playing on the piano by none other Brian. I was looking down and as soon as I looked up, I was greeted by Matt smiling with full dimples on display. I smiled back as we finally made it down the isle.

"Who gives this woman to this man?" the priest asked.
"I do." My dad said as he handed Matt my hand.
"Take good care of her and of my granddaughter too." dad said.
"Of course I would never do anything to hurt her." Matt said as we walked up to the alter together. He leaned over to my ear.
"You look absolutely gorgeous." Matt said.
"You look so handsome yourself." I said as we turned to face each other.

"So I heard that Matthew and Samantha have written their own vows. We are going to start with Matthew first. Go ahead." the priest said as Brian got up from the piano and ran over to hand Brian the paper with his vows on it. Matt cleared his throught.

"Sammy, the most beautiful girl in the world. The moment I saw you back in high school on your first day ever as Samantha Runnels, I was taken aback by your beauty. I couldn't help but look at you and in turn, I ran into a door. After you asked me if I was okay I tried to play it off cool and said that I was fine and in turn ran into a trash can where you dubbed me trashy door boy. THen I didn't know you had a twin sister until I sat next to her in one class and I was thinking to myself, okay gotta show how cool I really am. That was until I got to see her nose and notice it wasn't you. Then I was so shocked that you said yes to my date. We had a down time where I was mad you lied but I see why you did now since now I'm apart of that life. During that time you were carrying my daughter and I knew that once I figured out that I was a dumb ass I had to spend my life with you. I proposed to you and by some miracle you said and I still can't believe you are standing in front of me with your beautiful dress on ready to become Mrs. Samantha Marie Sanders. I can't wait to wake up to you next to me every morning saying good morning wifey, I love you. So I'm so glad that I ran into the trash can and the door a year ago and you fell in love with me at that moment. I love you and I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with you." Matt said as he ran his thumb on my cheek to wipe away a tear.

"And now Samantha, you vows." the priest said to me as Stacie reached into her dress top and pulled it out.
"Ohh sister boob sweat thanks." I said which made everyone laugh. I took a deep breath and looked into Matt's hazel eyes.

"From the moment when I was walking to class and saw you run into the door, was like you the moment I grew my first crush. When you ran into the trash can and the door I couldn't help but laugh and feel great to know I caused a boy that I was actually interested in to do that, to get so distracted and injure themselves. We got to know each other pretty well and you asked me on a date and handed me the Lily flower and I was in love. The moment I looked in your hazel eyes and you smiled showing off your dimples, I was mush and there was no way you were getting away from me. When we had our down time, I was so depressed because I was also carrying our daughter, well at the time we didn't know she was going to be a girl and so many things happened to us. I experienced my first heart break and then when you sang that song at mine and Stacie's birthday, I knew I was forgiven and that you didn't give up on me the same way I didn't give up on you. I love how you are always there for me no matter what and I can't wait to become Mrs. Trashy door boy, oh I mean, Mrs. Matthew Sanders and spend the rest of my life with you and hopefully making our family bigger." I said as I handed the paper back to Stacie who gave me a tissue.

"With that being said, the rings." the priest said and Mikey brought Max up who had the rings. Matt grabbed my ring and held my hand.
"Now repeat after me, With this ring I thee wed." he said. Matt repeated and slipped the beautiful ring that Stacie probably helped him pay for and kissed my hand. I bent down and grabbed Matt's ring.
"Same for you, with this ring I thee wed." the priest said. I repeated the words and slipped the ring on his finger.

"By the power vested in me in the state of California, I now pronounce you Mister and Mrs Sanders, you may now kiss your bride." the priest said as Matt pulled me to him and kissed me deeply with so much love and passion. We grabbed our hands as everyone cheered and walked down the isle.

-Present-

I wiped my eyes as Stacie came into the room and pulled me too her.

"Does Brian know where he is?" I asked her. She shook her head no.
"BUt I told him to call me as soon as they know anything. He said he lost Matt when a dust storm came toward them." Stacie said. I nodded and Stacie just wrapped her arms around me more.

As we were sitting there, I heard my phone go off so I quickly pushed my sister off of me and grabbed it. I looked and saw Matt's name flash on the screen at the same time as Stacie's phone was ringing with Brian's. I picked up it.

"OH my god baby are you okay?!?" I asked him frantically.
"Yes, I'm fine just got a lot of dust in my lungs. I ended up in the hospital and couldn't call you. I went to find Brian but the air just got so bad. Brian and I weren't far from the towers when they got hit, don't tell Stacie though Brian's telling her that part now. I'm okay I just wanted to call you and tell you, we have to cancel the New York shows and East coast stuff, my throat. So we'll be coming home." Matt said.
"Thank god you are okay. I was so worried something happened. You aren't flying home right?" I asked him.
"No, we are driving the bus home. We aren't getting on a plane when there was four planes." Matt said. I could hear Brian in the background so I knew he was back at the hotel.

"I was so worried." I said as I took a deep breath knowing my soul mate was okay.
"Well I hope you didn't get any wrinkles on that beautiful face, even if you did, you would still be beautiful to me." Matt said.
"Aww that was cheesy." Stacie said.
"Brian get the fuck away from my face." Matt said which made me laugh.
"No, Stacie and I want to hear what you are saying and she wants to hear your reaction to this. Guess what since your alive and everything you get to be UNcle Matt." Brian said.
"Uncle Matt, is Brian on drugs." Matt asked.
"No Brian isn't on drugs." Stacie and I said at the same time.
"I'm confused?" Matt said.
"I love it when you are confused." I said.
"What don't you love about him." Stacie said to me.
"HIs morning breath." I said.

"NO you love that too." Matt, Stacie and Brian said.
"Do I need to spell it out for you Matthew, we are having what you had two years ago." Stacie said.
'You're having sex?" Matt asked.
"Stacie is pregnant!" Brian said.
"Stacie is pregnant, oh holy shit Stacie is pregnant! Congrats you guys now I'm glad i lived." Matt chuckled.
"Matthew if you were here right now I would slap you." I said.
"I Love you." Matt said to me.
"I love you too now get home soon Lily misses her daddy." I said to him.
"We are checking out first thing tomorrow and be home as quick as I can. I love you so much." Matt said.
"Don't do anything to make you lose contact with me." I siad.
"I won't." Matt said. We said goodbye one more time and hung up.

"There, now we both know they aren't dead." STacie said hugging me. I heard a little pitter patter of Lily and Bella's feet and paws and they came in the room.
"Dada on phone?" Lily asked.
"He was but he'll call tonight before bed like he always does." I said to her as she climbed up on the bed into my arms.

I was so glad to know all the boys were okay and that they were on their way home soon.
