Insatiable

summertime
warmth
no stress.
and then all of a sudden
like falling through a sudden hole in the dark
he pulls me back down again.
The dark hole
where he keeps me
is filling with tears.
If they keep coming,
will I drown?
At least they keep
him
from getting thirsty.
But he's always hungry.
It doesn't matter how much Prozac I shove
down both of our throats.
He always needs more.
