We've Got It All Figured Out... For Now

“It’s so weird walking around and not being able to understand anything that they’re saying,” Josh said as we walked along the streets of Paris.

“Josh, you can’t understand anything anyway,” Ky teased while rolling her eyes.

“I can too!” He battled.

“If you haven’t noticed, your hubby ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed either,” I giggled.

“And just because I’m not book-smart doesn’t mean I’m not smart,” Josh piped in.

“And my good looks make up for my intelligence,” Todd smirked.

“Todd, don’t battle anything with your looks,” I shook my head.

“You’re just jealous because you’re not beautiful like me,” He went on. “Ow!” Todd whined as I whacked his arms.

“She’s more beautiful,” Josh grinned while slipping his arm around my waist and planting a kiss on my lips.

The four of us walked into a little café and sat down for lunch and Kylee ordered for all of us.

“It’s so sexy that you can speak French,” Todd smiled.

“I can’t speak it very well, only a little,” She rebutted.

“She took French in high school,” I stated.

“Really?” Josh asked.

“Yeah, you had to have two years of a foreign language to graduate so I took French,” Ky shrugged.

“I took German because it sounded cool,” Todd smirked.

“What did you take Josh?” I asked my hubby.

“Spanish. I slept through all my classes,” He chuckled.

“Why does that not surprise me that you did that?” Kylee rolled her eyes.

Josh just shrugged before questioning me, “What did you take?”

“Sign language,” I told him while spelling it out in sign language.

“Now that’s sexy,” Josh grinned while rubbing his hand on my thigh then giving my knee a squeeze.

“You’re my Just Gorgeous,” I smiled while rubbing our noses together.

“Oh gag me,” Ky spoke up.

“Hey! That’s my line!” I giggled.

“I can give you reason to use your line if you want,” She smiled while hugging onto her Toddie bear.

“Excuse me I have to go throw up,” I shot at them playfully.

“ah ha, ah ha you crack me up,” Todd mumbled.

“One night I’m going to sneak into your house and shave off all that hair,” I glared.

“I don’t want you to think about you anywhere near me while I’m sleeping. That’s just creepy,” Todd shuddered.

“Shut up!” I shot at him with a laugh in my voice.

The four of us sat at our table and chatted for a while until a different subject came up.

“I miss my Emma and Christian,” I pouted.

“I know, it seems like a year since I’ve seen them,” Ky added.

“They missed you too,” Todd spoke up. “But I miss Mason.”

“Where has he been?” I asked. “With Tanner this whole time?”

“Yeah mostly,” He sighed.

“Well you’ll see him when you guys get back. I’m sure both of us will be having family time,” I smiled.

“I can’t wait,” Ky grinned.

“I’m so excited to see my babies,” I stated.

“They’re dying to see you to babe,” Josh told me. “The day you left Christian just kept whimpering, mama, mama, mama the whole day and Emma was sad too.”

“Josh you’re killing me,” I whined while nuzzling my face into the crook of his neck.

“I’m sorry honey, I didn’t mean to upset you,” he cooed while kissing the top of my head. “They were fine the next day when they got to talk to you. And I had a lot of fun with them. Emma was super excited to spend time with the grandparents.”

“And I think the grandparents were super excited too,” Todd chuckled.

“Definitely,” Josh smiled.

I love my family so much. I am really enjoying my time in Paris with my bestie and now my gorgeous husband but I can’t wait to have my kids back with me.
