power in memories

Journal entry 14: November 27, 2009

I met Hannah today at the park. She wasn’t acting like herself. Her voice wasn’t as smooth and controlled as it was yesterday. She kept disappearing for four through five minute periods, but I took no mind to any of that. I figured that if I did I would come off as too clingy and maybe accidently drive her off.
All we did though was go and explore the forest and she took me to this really cool clearing. The trees formed a circle around us as we stood on top a leaf carpet. I had felt at peace and was lost in the depths my mind. I completely forgot she was there beside me as I was staring into the outstretched arms of the trees. My vision began to fade and all I could see were letters. The letters were circling me forming words. The words looked so familiar to me, but before I could make out what they were trying to tell me Hannah was calling my name as she waved her hand vigorously in front of my face.
We headed home when the sun was setting. It felt like only a few minutes had passed by, four hours in reality had past. I look forward to spending more time with Hannah.
