Chapter 16
Cam's POV.
Week Later.
Before anyone knew it, a week had passed. I'm back home in Poway, California. It's only been a day and me and Joey miss each other like crazy.
I was hanging out at Mike's house, with the band earlier, but I wasn't listening at all. I was too busy texting Joey.
It's now 7:30 PM. My family just finished diner. Except dad, 'cause he doesn't come home from work 'till 9:00 PM.
I look around. I'm bored out of my mind.
"I'm going for a walk." I tell my mom.
"Alright. Try to be home when your dad comes home." She replies.
I nod and go outside.
I text Joey for a bit, as I walk. Around 8:00, I put my phone away. I've been walking for half an hour. I'm so bored, i'll keep walking.
Half an hour later, i'm still bored, so I keep walking. It's 8:30 at night and it's a little bit dark.
Suddenly, everything goes black..
