A Hard (Love) Life
Zach And Jo
Zach's POV.
I go over to Jo's house and knock on the door.
Mr.Garden opens it.
"Oh hello..Zach?" He says.
I nod.
"Zach." I say.
He nods.
"Is Jo home?" I ask.
"I think so, JO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He yells her name.
She clomps down the stairs.
"Yes?" She asks.
"He wants you." The dad says.
She nods then looks at her dad.
"Dad?" She asks.
"Yes?" He asks.
"Joeys asleep." She says.
"Yeah, so?" He asks.
"So is Cameron, her boyfriend."
"Yeah, so?" He asks again.
In Joey's bed, together." She says.
"Oh, umm." He says, his eyebrows going up. Mine did too, ever so slightly. He clearly didn't
know what to say.
"Umm." He says as he leaves the room.
She looks at me.
"Yes?" She asks.
"Can we talk somewhere?" Like your room?." I ask.
She nods and we go up to her room.
She opens the door and sits down on her bed.
I come in, shut the door and look around.
Her room was basically the same as Joey's but her walls weren't green. They were yellow and blue. The wall with the window and the wall with the bed were yellow and the other two walls were blue. That was another thing we had in common, we both have yellow and blue as are fave color(s). Nate's is green (like Cam) and Mikey's is blue. Nate is turning 17 in May, Mikey is turning 19 in August and I turn 19 in December. Jo turns 19 tomorrow.
I go and sit beside her.
"Jo." I say then I sigh.
I was looking right into her brown eyes and she was looking right into my bright blue,ocean like, eyes.
"I know you have a boyfriend, but...." I trailed offed and sigh again.
"Please continue." Jo says.
"But, I love you. I can't go a day without seeing your face." I say then sigh again.
"Zach, I love you too, how you fell about me is how I fell about you. But I, and I know you know this, have a boyfriend." Jo says.
I sigh. "I know." I say then I got up and leave.
I passed by Joey's room, her door was open and, I don't know why, I looked inside.
First thing I saw was Joey sleeping, and sure enough, Cam's sleeping beside her, cuddling her like she's a teddy bear.
I sigh again and leave the house.
Just as I got outside, I had probably walked only 4 steps, when I heard Jo say my name.
I spun around and Jo ran up to me.
"Yeah?' I ask.
"Do you love me?" She asks.
I nod. "Yes." I say.
Next thing I knew Jo's lips were touching mine. She was kissing me!
Jo stopped kissing me a few seconds later. It was a perfect kiss. I wished it was my first kiss.
I look at her.
"Just as you left my boyfriend dumped me. Who knows why." She says.
I grin, which made her grin.
"So, now your single?" I ask her.
She nods.
"Would you like to go out on a date with me? Right now.?" I ask.
"As long as your single!" She replies.
I wink at her. "I am, have no fear." I say.
She starts laughing, which made me laugh.

9:00 At Night.
Zach's POV.
I had just gone on my very first date with Jo. But I wished it was my very first date. It was perfect, so was that kiss she gave me earlier (around 8:00).
"Why did I go and date those other girls?" I think in my head.
"Know what ,Zach?" Jo says.
"Hmm, I know a lot of things."What?" I say.
She smiles.
"I wish that date and kiss were my first."
I nod. "Same here." I say smiling.
She smiles and we quickly kiss.
"Are we a couple?" She asks.
"You want to be a couple?" I ask.
She nods.
"Alright." Good night, girlfriend." I say grinning.
She grins. "Good night, boyfriend." She says.
We quickly kiss again and she goes into her house and I head back to mine.
