The room was white and bare. I said nothing and sat down on the bed.
Katharina sighed and closed the door, leaving me to my own thoughts. I growled and lay back down on the bed, the white already giving me a head ache.
I jumped as the door swung open and a gangly man stepped in. I guess this is Katharina’s husband. He looked washed out and tired. I rolled my eyes and glared at him.
“Kat told me to remind you that you start school tomorrow.” After an awkward smile on his part, he closed the door.
I’m never going to get a break am I? I yawned and realized that while it was only two in the afternoon here, back in Germany it was around four in the morning.
I can’t sleep on planes and it has been I twelve hour ride, meaning I hadn’t gotten any sleep since around two days ago.
