When I got home Paul's truck was there. I leaned my head back against the seat
and sighed.
Here goes nothing.
Turning off the ignition and going inside let me find Paul pacing the floor in
the den. There was a broken lamp on the ground.
He looked up when I entered looking relieved but relief soon turned to anger.
" Where the fuck have you been!?!?!!" he screamed, shaking. I set my purse down.
" Port Angeles. Recording. "
He shook less but look angry still.
" You couldn't have called me or left a damn note?!!!?!???"
Oh no he didn't.
" Yeah!!!Cause you're soooo good at leaving notes when you leave!!!"
He stopped pacing. " What?"
I walked closer to him." For the past week I've woken up every day and your
gone. How do you think I feel? Huh?"
His shaking finally stopped.
He wrapped his arms around me,"There's pack trouble. A damn bloodsucker keeps
getting past. That's why I was so scared and upset. I though the worst. I
thought something had happened to you. I can't loose you, Kara."
I smiled slightly, resting my head on his chest, his strong arms circling me.
" You have to talk to me Paul. Communicate. I can't read your mind. " I told
him. He nodded.
There was a pause," Uhm if you want, there's a bonfire tonight. We could go?" he
asked. I bit my lip.
" I guess." I leaned on my tip toes and kissed him gently.
I meant for it to be innocent but he wanted to play.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and deepened the kiss.
I pulled gently on his hair with my fingers.
I felt one of his hands grab my butt and I gasped, letting his tongue wander
into my mouth.
I moaned and pulled away for air, trailing kisses down his chest, backing him up
to the couch.
As we kissed his knees hit the back and he fell, sitting on the couch and
pulling me with him.
I crawled into his lap, straddling his thighs as our lips fought fiercely.
I felt his growing hardness and smirked, pulling away.
His pink puffy lips and confused expression made me giggle as I got up and
walked away.
" Fuck. You're gonna be the death of me, Woman!!!" he yelled.
