The Only Thing Different is the Way I Feel About You

It’s been 3 weeks. You have been hanging out with Tony lately. Jacko has tried to talk to you but you just walk away. You are at Todd’s compound taking pictures when you feel arms warped around you. You look and see Tony.

“Hey what you doing here?” You ask.
“Thought I surprise you. Whoa you know good dirt bikers, these guys are great,” Tony said.

“Who is this Anna” Todd said.
“Todd this is Tony, Tony this is my older brother Todd,” You said.
“Hello it’s nice to meet you.”

Todd too off his helmet and Tony look at him.

“It’s Todd potter,” Tony said.
“Oh, I forgot to mention that to you,” You said.
“So those guys…”
“Are the members of the Metal Mulisha. Anna can you get me a water bottle?” Todd said.
“Sure thing Todd.”

You go over to his truck and get out a water bottle. You get out and you see Jacko getting his bike out of his truck. He looks at you. You look down and give Todd the water.

“So Anna you want to go get food?” You said.

Todd looks at him.

“Hold on ok Tony?” You said.
“Sure thing,” Tony said.

You go away with Todd.

“No, you cannot date him. He only wants to get in your pants, I know this ok,” Todd said.
“Ok Todd?” You said.
“Do you like him?”
“Really I don’t think so.”
“You don’t think so?”
“Rebound.”
“You know Jacko wants you back.”
“He thinks I cheated on him, no.”

You go over and walk Tony to his truck which is right next to Jacko.

“So we are going to go on the date?” Tony asks.

You look and Jacko dropped his helmet. You smile and look at Tony.

“No,” You said.
“Why not?” Tony asks.
“Todd doesn’t like you.”
“So what he doesn’t matter you are 18.”
“I live with him, and he is a good judge of character, so we going to stop talking ok?”
“Because your older brother doesn’t like me?”
“Yeah he thinks you only want sex.”
“Every guy my age only want sex, if they don’t they are gay.”
“Just leave ok Tony”
“Fine, you not worth it anyways.”

You look at Tony and start raising your hand to hit him.

“Just leave Tony,” You said.

You walk away. You go back to the guys. Rob look at you.

“You move fast,” Rob said.
“Fuck off!” You said.

You go off to the side where no one is practicing and lay down.

“The floor can’t be that comfy,” Jacko said.

You look and see Jacko.

“What do you want?” You ask.
“Can we talk?” Jacko ask.
“No.”
“Ok, I brought you a pillow here.”

He threw a pillow at you and goes over to the guys. You put it under your head and close your eyes. You fell yourself get shaken. You open your eyes and see Todd. Todd smiles and looks at you.

“Come on let’s go home Anna,” Todd said.
“What time is it?” You ask.
“It is around eight, the sun hasn’t even set yet isn’t it great.”

You laugh and Climb on Todd’s bike. You grab on to his shoulder and he takes off to the truck. You get off and Todd looks at you.

“You think you get sleep tonight?” Todd asks.
“Yeah, I wasn’t sleeping that long,” You said.
“Ok that’s good”

You laugh and look and see Jacko getting change. You grab the pillow and set it in the bed.

“Thanks Jackson,” You said.
“You are welcome,” Jacko said.

You go and get in Todd’s car. Todd came in and looks at you.

“So?” Todd said.
“Nothing,” You said.
“Ok.”

You look in the review mirror and see Jacko putting his bike away. You smile seeing him bending down.

“Do you still like him?” Todd said.
“I don’t want to,” You said.
“I understand.”
