The Only Thing Different is the Way I Feel About You

You wake up to Todd shaking you. You smile and get up and hug him.

“You got school today. Its five thirty,” Todd said.
“You up now?” You ask.
“I got to send you off.”
“Ok out.”
“Got you a Rockstar.”
“Todd, you are not spouse to get me hyped up.”
“Its fine, here you go.”
“Thanks.”

He leaves and you open up the rock star he got you. You drink it while picking out the clothes you want. You go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. You get dress and you did your makeup and hair. You go downstairs with your bag seeing you got to go in five minutes. You go downstairs. Todd hands you toast. You smile and start eating it. You go and warm your car up before brushing your teeth. You go and grab a big Rockstar.

“I need a picture,” Todd said.

You laugh and smile at him. He took a quick picture and hugs you.

“Good luck Baby girl,” Todd said.
“Thanks and bye Todd. Do I come home when I’m done with school?” You ask.
“I will be at the compound.”
“Ok bye.”
“Bye.”

You go to school and walk in to your first class and go up to the teacher.

“Hello, how may I help you?” The teacher asks.
“I’m a new student Annabella Potter,” You said.
“Oh let me see your scheduled.”

You hand it to her.

“Yes, you are my student. Did you get your book already?” She asks.
“Yes,” You said.
“It can stay at home. We got a class set here. Now let me show you to your seat.”
“Thank you.”
She moved you to a seat.

“Here you go. Where did your last school left off in Cal?” She asks.
“We just got done with line and surface integrals Chapter 11,” You said.
“Oh you are head of us, we are half way through it.”
“We got an early day for the AP exams.”
“We got one of the later ones here. I’m going to be talking about that today at the end.”
“Great.”

The bell rings.

“You came early,” She said.
“I know. I prefer Anna instead of Annabel,” You said.
“Ok that is fine.”

Students came in and she goes to the board.

“Hey your new here aren’t you?” A guy asks.
“Yes I am,” You said.
“I’m Luis.”
“Nice to meet you Luis I’m Anna.”
“It’s nice to meet you, so why you moved here?”
“I did.”
“We should go out.”

You look at him and Jacko popped in your head.

“I’m good without it,” You said.
“But it’s me,” Luis said.
“Who cares?”

He looks at you and walks away. You look at your phone and you see a text.

Jacko’s Phone

You smile and save Jacko’s number. You put it away and took notes. You go to Photo and you set everything up. You go thru day and just drove to Brian’s not brother to stay the whole lunch. You go in the house not hearing the dirt bikes.

“I thought you have school?” Marissa asks.
“School is over rated,” You said.
“Annabel,” Todd said.
“I didn’t ditch. I just didn’t stay for lunch. It’s fine Todd.”

“What’s wrong?” Todd asks.
“School is hell,” You said.
“You got two months honey pull threw it.”
“Sure thing”
“What you want to do?”
“Graphic design, Photo, Art mainly since I got like Art programs through the roof.”
“You do draw well.”

You laugh and Marissa hugs you.

“Are you hungry?” Marissa asks.
“Yeah, I skipped lunch to come here,” You said.
“Ok let’s sit down I get you a plate.”
“Thanks Marissa.”
“No problem.”

You go and you sit down where there is no plate.

“You draw?” Brian asks.
“Yeah, I got a box full. They really random stuff most of the time,” You said.
“That’s cool.”

You smile knowing he is thinking about you helping the Mulisha. You guys eat. You go out back and sit down in a chair at a table and did your math homework.

“What are you doing Sheila?” Jacko ask.
“Homework,” You said.
“I guess that, what math is that?”
“Cal BC”
“So you are smart. What happen to Todd? I thought smartness fallows siblings.”
“Todd is smart. He really thinks about his tricks. He just doesn’t shoe it to often because there no point.”
“That is very true, do you understand that?”
“Yeah, it’s easy I went through it at my old school.”
“Why was school hell?”
“Guys just didn’t leave me alone. Everyone already thinks I’m a whore.”
“At lest you get to get away here.”
“Yeah I guess, but you can only hang around 30 and 20 year olds when you are 17 for so long.”
“I’m only 19.”
“That is very true. Hey Bilko text me with your phone to let you know.”
“How you know it Bilko that did it?”
“He said so.”
“So this is your number?”

You look and nod your head.

“Yep that’s my,” You said.
“I save it, if you need anything, text or call me,” Jacko said.
“Sure thing.”

You guys talk a little about things going on while you finish your homework.

“Time to go home,” Todd said.
“Yep, I’m done,” You said.
“Good, so am I.”

you get up and put everything away.

“See you later Jacko,” You said.
“sure thing Sheila,” Jacko said.
“Assuie ways, Assuie ways, not him hitting,” Todd mumble out.
“That’s right Todd,” You said.

“Bye Todd,” Jacko said.
“Bye Jackson,” Todd said.

You smile and you fallow Todd home.
