Born and Broken Every Single Time.

Love games.

This is the second update today; make sure you've read the previous one ^-^

"Thanks for this," I smiled as I dragged my small case over the doorstep. "You really didn't have to."

"It's not problem!" Mrs. Way grinned, watching as I closed the door behind me. "Your dad explained it all, and I swear honey there's nothing I would want more than you staying with us! You're welcome for as long as you want, you know that?"

"Yeah," I smiled. "Thank you."

I bit my lip as I lifted my case. It may have been small, but it was way heavier than it looked. I dragged myself up the stairs, the case begrudgingly coming with me although it's weight battled my strength pretty well. As I got to the top I swung open Mikey's door and dumped my case on his floor. He was at school, I wasn't. No surprise there. Today everyone had agreed it was best for me to get out of there as soon as possible. My dad was heading back to his work trip after he dropped me off and as far as I was concerned that's all that mattered, I didn't need to know what my mother was doing, I didn't' need to know anything about her.

I kicked my case so it rested against the wall, cursing under my breath as pain seared briefly in my foot. I ignored the pain until it passed, walking quietly down the hall and knocking gently on Gerards door.

"Come in," he muttered dejectedly.

I opened the door slightly, peeking in and seeing him sprawled out on his bed looking miserable as he fidgeted with his phone. He looked over, a smile gracing his face when he saw me. I couldn't help but grin at his reaction.

"You okay?" I smiled, walking in and closing the door behind me.

"Been better," he muttered. "So this is what they were trying to tell me last night?"

"What?" I questioned, not quite sure of what he meant.

"You staying here," he continued. "I heard them mention someone staying here and thought they were having a go about Eva so I had my music up to ignore them. My mistake," he giggled.

"So you don't mind?" I asked, feeling uneasy at his mention of Eva.

"Of course I don't," he smiled. "It's not like we haven't got the room."

"What actually happened with you two?" I asked, a few flashbacks to the argument I had heard springing to mind and making me grin inwardly.

"She left," he muttered. "Guess having history doesn't make a difference."

"So I was wondering," I grinned, making Gerard look over awkwardly. "Mikey has been talking about how he wants to know who this girl is, you know the one who's name you-"

"Fuck off," he smirked. "I didn't do that, she got it wrong."

"Well as far as I heard," I smirked. "She was under the impression you'd moaned… what was it now? Fr… Fra-"

"Okay we both know what she thought," he smirked, throwing his phone clumsily at me. "But she was wrong."

"Of course she was," I grinned, throwing his phone back at him before reclining slightly in his chair. "Gerard it's okay to admit you're like madly in love with me, I can deal with it."

"I will kick your ass," he grinned as I mocked him slightly, grinning as I watched him pretend to use his phone to offer some distraction. "Seriously, stop I'm meant to be like wallowing in my own self pity for being dumped."

"It's okay though," I continued, my tone taking a more serious note. "I'll not let you be sad, because being sad sucks. But I'm sorry, I can't distract you in that way Gerard, it's against my ethics."

"Frank!" he grinned. "Shut the fuck up!"

"Gerard," I grinned, slumping down into the chair before deciding to mock him some more. "Fuck, Gerard," I moaned, closing my eyes and grinning. "Oh, uh, Gerard, fuck."

"Say that again and I'll kill you," he grinned. I opened my eyes to find him leaning over me with a grin, his hands resting on the armrests of his chair on either side of me.

"It's just," I gasped. "So hard not to, uh Gerard."

I laughed as he pouted at my reply, grabbing my face awkwardly with one hand as he pressed his lips to mine, his tongue quickly brushing mine. "You want games Frank Iero?" he smirked as he looked at me. "I'll give you fucking games. Out my room."

"But, Gerard," I pouted. "I was having such a good time watching you squirm."

"Out," he smirked. "It's on Iero."

"Ooh scared," I sniggered, walking out of his room without looking back. I couldn't help but laugh to myself as I returned to Mikey's room and crashed out on his bed, flicking through the channels on the television just to find something remotely worth watching.

I muted the television as I thought I heard someone call me, thinking it was maybe Mrs. Way calling to tell me someone had phoned or something. I couldn't help but laugh at what I really did hear.

"Oh Frank," Gerard moaned quietly from his room. "Fuck." I could tell he had played these games before.
