7 Nightmares

I still remember clearly the day I died. It was a sunny day like no other, the birds were singing beautifully, but I wasn’t really enjoying myself. These past few weeks I started having these weird nightmares that deprived me from sleep. It was the same dream over and over again.

There was this girl, a beautiful girl, dressed in white. She’s always smiling at me in my dreams. It was nice at the beginning, but after a few days, it started to get worse… She was paler and paler. Her veins were visible. Her skin was almost translucent. And her smile wasn’t sweet anymore it was evil…

I didn’t talk to anyone about my dreams or what I saw at the river. They would have taken me for a fool. I take myself for a fool. Those things do not exist, period. But I was indeed a fool…
