Regretful

1/1

She walked. Silence seems to be the usual sound, the place did not matter. Whether it was a noisy street with several people or simply a countryside road with just the birds singing. No it did not matter, silence seemed be just there .

Regret hung over the old woman like those grey clouds concealing today's bright blue sky. It didn't matter if it was winter or autumn, it didn't make any difference. She couldn't fix these regrets, she was too old. Tears at times would escape those greyish blue eyes.

She had such vivid dreams now they are grey and fading into nothing. She would die soon, she was getting older everyday. She would leave behind those regrets and they would still linger those streets. They would be a memory of her, she loved the humble silence of this street .

I thought this was pretty decent. I'm almost proud of this.
