The Blank Fortune Cookie

This is a drabble. exactly one hundred words. I wrote it because I had Chinese food today. I opened my fortune cookie and it said, "It is not your character to give up".

Really, though... I have always wanted a fortune cookie that either said "blank." or just had nothing on it. I don't know why. It's just one of my goals in life to get a fortune cookie with no fortune in it.
