Lilly was tired of her life. There weren’t any friends in the picture and no one that would even try. There was never a kind word to be said about or to her. The only thing that made her life bearable was when she played in her high school marching band. Well what happens when all of her family is killed off? At her family reunion, which she didn’t attend because of a marching competition, a crazed murder set off a bomb making her the only one of her bloodline left in the world. When she got the news she became extremely depressed. The only person that she told was her band director. Katie Sullivan, the band director, adopted Lilly. When the school year was over Lilly decided that it was time for a change, she changed everything. Her red hair turned black. She tanned her skin. She also got snake bites. The only thing she kept the same was her bright blue eyes. When she comes back what will people say? After all she isn’t Lilly anymore, now she is Nyx.
