Like We Used To

I let out a deep breath of air and stood up abruptly, wiping my dust covered hands on my denim pants. I stood in my hollow room and bent down, picking up the last box of items to my name. I trudged down the old wooden stairs, past the crumbling faces of my family and towards my car.

It's time for a new beginning.
