Vampires, Werewolves, and... Love? Oh My!

I was in utter disbelief. It had been so long since I'd been sentenced here to Forks. I hadn't seen Jace since my last night in Florida yet here he was looking as amazing as ever. "Omigod," I whispered under my breath.
"Now," the red-head said slowly, "Lizzy, honey, would you be so kind as to come with us?"
"Drop dead," I snapped. Probably not the best choice of words to tell a vampire, but like I said, I was already wasted.
"It's too late for that, baby." Jace voice was different. It was more seductive and smoother. I felt myself getting drawn to him more than ever before. My breathing was shallow and harsh now.
"You're not taking Lizzy," Leah growled.
"Want to bet?" the red-head snarled.
"Yes, I do," Emma and I replied similtaneously.
The red-head smirked. "Elizabeth, darling, I'll give you two options. The first one is that you come willingly and there's no harm done. The second is that I kill your friends and take you by force. Their lives are in your hands."
“Think about this, baby. You know how I can be when I don’t get my way.”
I glared but then my expression softened and I dropped my eyes. I knew what I had to do. "You win," I whispered. "I'll go with you. Just leave them alone."
"Smart choice, Lizzy." Jace scooped me up into a hug. His body was freezing and I automatically cringed away from him. "Aw. Don't be like that, Lizzy."
"Don't tell me what to do." My heart jumped into my throat and it was pounding like crazy. "Let's just go."
"Liz, no!" Leah's skin irrupted in grey fur and she stood on all fours growling.
"Leah, don't!"

*ALICE'S POV*
"Well I think this slumber party is going well."
"Alice, it's only seven. If it was going bad already I wouldn't still be here."
"Let's go up to my room and play dress-up!" I giggled when Bella wrinkled her nose at my suggestion. She needs to get used to letting me pick her clothes and stop being so shy when she becomes a Cullen. She likes letting me shop for her even less than my brothers do, and I didn't think that was possible! "Rose, come with us and play with Bella's hair."
"Alice, I don't want to help you make Bella look glamorous. And I don't think she wants you using her as your own dress-up doll either."
I stuck my tongue out. They were being no fun. "Fine, Rosalie. You don't have to be such a party pooper abou-" I gasped as everything went out of focus. The next thing I knew I saw Victoria and another vampire not too far away. An image of Lizzy flashed before my eyes and then everything disappeared.
"Alice, what is it?" Bella asked worriedly.
"Victoria."
Bella blanched. "Wh-what does she want?"
"Bella, love," Edward answered before I could, "she's after you. But this time she wants to use your sister as leverage." Bella's eyes widened to saucers with tears dripping out and her hands fluttered to her mouth to stifle a gasp.
"So what's her mutt going to do about it?" Rosalie snapped.
"I'm not sure. He wasn’t there or else I wouldn’t have been able to see it. I have a really bad feeling about this."
"So let's go get her." Bella was getting hysterical.
"Bella, love, you stay here and we'll-"
"No, Edward! I'm not staying behind and letting my twin suffer because of me, dammit!"

*JACOB'S POV*
*How's it going with Lizzy?* Embry asked as he ran with me and Seth.
I smirked. *I could ask you the same thing about Emma.*
*Pretty damn good, thanks. But then my imprint doesn't cut herself around vampires for the hell of it.* I growled.
*Chill, Jake. I'm sure that Embry didn't mean it. I think Lizzy's awesome. Especially if she can willingly hang around my sister. I haven't seen Leah so happy since she and Sam were together.*
Speak of the devil. Leah phased and we could all feel the pressure from her mind. She didn't seem to realize that we were there but there was an edge of panic in her thoughts. *Lizzy, don't do this,* she thought to herself.
*Leah, what's happening with Lizzy?*
I got a quick glimpse at where Leah was. I could feel Emma cowering behind her. Leah was growling fiercely at the red-head Victoria vamp that's been trying to get Bella and another vampire. I froze when I saw that the other was holding someone close to them. Someone Bella's height, Bella's posture, Bella's shape and she was looking toward her feet. But it wasn't Bella. This person had darker, longer hair and Leah wouldn't be worrying as much for Bella. No, it wasn't Bella. It was Lizzy.
I howled and started racing as fast as possible to where they were- right on the boundary line.

*LIZZY'S POV*
"Leah, please, don't," I begged. Tears were streaming down my eyes. I really couldn't care less about what was going to happen to me but I wasn't going to let Leah or Emma get hurt. "Just promise you'll get Em home. Please?"
Her growling quieted minutely and she stared at me with pleading eyes. "I'm sure about this," I whispered. She let out a low whine.
"Excellent," the red-head smiled. "Jace, dear, I think it's time that we go now."
"So soon, Victoria?" She spun so quickly it was a blur. The five Cullen kids and even Bella stood facing her. I saw the fear in her eyes as they darted longingly at my sister.
"Come on, Liz, baby," Jace said holding me tighter so it got hard to breath. There was more growling coming from Leah's direction. Only this time it was louder and meaner. I peeked back to see Jacob and Embry with Leah in front of Emma.
"Looks like there's no way out," the red-head muttered. "But if I go down I'm taking Elizabeth with me. If any of you take a step closer than I'll drain her dry."
Everyone froze. The forest was completely silent, eerily so. I was going to die no matter what but I didn’t want anyone else to get hurt too.
"Just let me go. I want to. I want to be with Jace again," I whispered almost inaudibly. The words tasted live vanilla extract coming from my mouth. I heard Jacob let out a low whine that broke my heart. I turned to my ex-boyfriend. "Can we go now?" I asked with a kiss.
Victoria smirked and threw back her flaming red hair. “Isabella. I’ll be in touch soon. Don’t worry, you’ll see your sister again when you come alone to take her place.”
“No!” I screamed. Tears were running down my cheeks as Jace scooped me up and started running. Goodbye Forks. Goodbye Jacob, I'll miss you.

*EDWARD'S POV*
*Take care of Bella.* Lizzy's mental voice was soft and pleading. *And tell Jacob that I l-love him. But please don't let him come after me. Don't let any of them come after me. Especially him and Bella.*
"No!" Bella screamed. She collapsed to the ground hugging herself and crying hysterically. It was heartbreaking. I pulled Bella into my arms.
*Please come back. Don't leave me. I need you.* The thoughts were so quiet that I thought they were being whispered. It took me a moment to realize that I was Bella's thoughts for the first time.
