Soon You'll Scream My Name

It Seems So Long Since I've Been Gone

The next morning while I was walking up to the school building, to my left, I heard some small giggles. I stopped and slowly turned in their direction. When my eyes fell on three guys and a girl they all doubled over with laughter. Then I knew: These are the little bastards that slashed my tires!
I went over to them. "What the fuck is so funny?" I asked.
They stopped. The girl had enough nerve to speak. "You, bitch."
I dropped my bag to the concrete and took a step toward her when she stood up. Inch shorter than I.
"What was that?" I snapped.
"You heard me."
"Did you slash my tires?"
The boys behind her began to laugh. She smirked.
"Try anything again, and see what happens." I growled.
The black and brown haired girl rolled her eyes and sat back down with her friends. She pulled an apple out of her bag and took a bite out of it. I went to pick up my bag, and the next thing I knew the apple had been tossed at my head. It rolled across the concrete until it bounced onto the dark colored parking lot. I looked back at the girl as a smirk began to creep onto her face. I did what I always did when such a situation popped up.
1) Pick the chick up by the collar of her shirt.
2) Say some smart remark that fits the situation.
3) Let her beg me to stop or pretend she can take the hit.
4) Knock the fuck out of her.
That's how it went.
She fell to the concrete as blood dripped from her nose. I picked up my bag with a satisfied smile on my lips. Then Dakota's hand was around my arm and pulling me quickly into the building.
"What the fuck was that?" He hissed.
"She and her friends slashed my tires." I told him.
"You don't fucking hit Hailey Hardy!"
I raised an eye brow as Ashton quietly walked up to us.
"Who the fuck is Hailey Hardy?" I asked.
Ashton's jaw dropped and his blue eyes widened.
"Please tell me she didn't punch that chick."
Dakota nodded, Ashton groaned. "You're in for it."
"What the fuck can the chick do to me?"
"Ruin your reputation." Ashton said.
"Fuck up your figure." Dakota added.
"Embarrass the fuck out of you."
"Make your life hell."
"Beat the shit out of you."
"Turn a lot of people against you."
"But I can do all of that." I interrupted them.
They looked at each other.
"This is going to be interesting, then."
I rolled my eyes as the bell started to ring. The kids in the hall began to scatter to their class rooms. I turned on my heels and started to walk toward mine as well. Ashton caught up to me. "You can't fight Hailey."
"Why not?"
He paused, probably thinking of a reason.
"I don't know," How smart. "But you just can't."
"If she fucks with me again, she's a goner."
Ashton sighed heavily as we entered our algebra class. I took my seat next to Caroline as always, but instead of sitting with Queen Bitch Charmaine, he sat on the other side of me. Caroline leaned forward to look at him. "You're out of order, Ash."
"I don't care, Caroline. Now Delta, what do you mean by that?"
I looked at him. "It means I'll fuck her ass up."
"Can I be informed about this?"
Ashton leaned forward. "Hailey Hardy and her gang were the ones who slashed Delta's tires last night. Delta says if Hailey ever decides to fuck with her again she'll fuck her up."
Caroline sighed. "At least Hailey doesn't know this... right?"
"Delta knocked the mother fuck out of her not even ten minutes ago."
"Are you insane?!" Caroline told me. "You hit her?"
I nodded. "She threw an apple at my head and hurt my baby."
She rolled her eyes. "You are out of this world, Delta."
Mrs. Haven walked into the room and began the first hour of our day.

Around lunch was when things really got going.
I was putting my books in my locker as Hailey walked up to me; alone.
She stood a few feet from me and I looked at her as I closed my locker.
"I am going to get you back for that, you know." She said.
I tilted my head to the side. "Really? I'd love to see you try."
"I'll make you regret that you had ever done that."
"Whatever you say, Princess. Oh, and how was that bloody nose of yours?"
I noticed her fists were balled up at her sides. "Fine, thank you."
Smirking, I walked past her and my shoulder bumped into hers. I gave her a clear shot to punch me and get me back, but she didn't take it. I walked into the lunch room and over to where my three friends were sitting.
"I'm surprised you're not dead yet," Ashton says as I am sitting down beside him.
"Fuck you, " I say. " I just now talked to her in the hallway."
They all stared at me wide eyed.
"You talked to her without a fight? How the fuck did that happen?" Dakota asked.
I shrugged. "All she told me was that she was going to get me back."
"Told you." Ashton said.
I rolled my eyes and took my vibrating phone out of my pocket. I read the message that Andra had sent me: So, we're just leaving South Side. We should be at your house by time you get outta school :D !
I yelped and everybody around me jumped.
"You're going to get your phone taken away." Caroline mumbled.
"I don't care, they won't get it out of my hands. But my best friend is coming to see me! Wait, did she text we're? What the fuck." I read the message over and over again. Could she be bringing Jamie along with her?
"Aren't we your best friends?" Caroline asked.
"Yeah, sure. But you guys are my best friends here. My friends from South is coming up!"
They looked at me with an expression of terror; especially Caroline.
"Don't worry," I assured them. "She's more decent than I am."
"How much more?" Dakota asked.
I pursed my lips. "You know, not by much."
That's when Ashton's head hit the table. "Is he sick?" I asked Dakota, pulling a strand of Ashton's black hair,
He shrugged. "I dunno."
Ashton lifted his head up and rested his chin on the table. He looked at me.
"Oh, the joy. Two Deltas running around."
I smirked and patted his head. "Don't worry, Ashton. When you meet her you'll be shocked."
The look in his eyes proved that he was unsure of this.
Which makes this much more fun that I expected it to me.
