Dad -

I'm sorry that I never got to tell you how much you mean to me. But here it is.

You were the one who got me ice cream when my heart was broken.
You were the one who defended me when my grandma got judgemental.
You were the one who told me that I was perfect the way I was.
You were the one who told me that boy were douche bags, and I should just become a nun.

Dad, you were the one who taught me how to live; how to become my own person.
