Make Me Better

Frank spun me around.
"Hey! You cheater." I said while the ball fell out of my arms. Frank set me down and grabbed the ball.
"Olive!" Lynz grunted.
"He cheated!" I said to Gerard.
"So?" Gee asked.
Lynz glared, " We are not playing if you two cheat." She said like she was his mom. Gerard gave us back the ball. Frank made whipping noises.
"That's why I don't have a girlfriend." Frank laughed.
"More like no wants to be your girlfriend." Gee laughed.
"That's a lie. Jenna obviously wants to be more than friends." Lynz said smiling. Frank looked confused.
"How do you know that?" He asked.
"Its obvious! Boys." Lynz said shaking her head. I laughed. We went on with our football game.
"Bam! You guys lost!" Frank taunted.

"You tripped me!" I scoffed.
"Sore loser." Gee said while he kissed Lynz. Frank made a face.
"Ey! Stop it! Oli and I don't need to see that." Frank said. They pulled away and walked off hand in hand.
Frank pulled me off the ground.
"Does Jenna really like me?" he asked.
"It seems like it." I nodded. Frank seemed to be thinking.
"Do you like her?" I asked.
"No, not really...I could learn to like her. I think being single is fun." Frank grinned. I rolled my eyes.

"What about you? No boyfriends yet?" He asked smiling.
"No." I said slowly, My last boyfriend had screwed me up. I still needed time to get over him.
Dating was the last thing on my mind.

"Don't worry..Prince Charming is out there somewhere. Maybe he's right around the corner." Frank said.
"Are you still watching those soap opera's?" I asked laughing. Frank glared at me playfully.
"How do we get home?" I asked. Gee and Lynz were making out in the car. Frank and I didn't feel like bothering them.

"We walk!" Frank said laughing.
Frank and I talked about random things while we walked to his house.

"If Jenna asked you out, would you say yes?" I asked after we ran out of things to say. Frank stayed quiet.

"I don't know. Probably." He shrugged. Oh my god. He liked her.

"What?" Frank asked.

"You like her!" I exclaimed. Frank scoffed.

"I don't."

"Then why would you say yes?" I questioned. He laughed it off.

"Did you see the way she looked at you?" I asked Frank the day after. We all cramped into Gee's basement. Frank shook his head at me.
Lynz walked over to me. frank had gotten up to help Gerard pick a movie to watch.

"What are you doing?" She asked. I looked up at her with a confused look.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. She sat next to me quickly.

"Don't push him away." She whispered. I sat there trying to figure out what the hell she was talking about.

"You two are perfect for each other." She added. I laughed. Frank and I? That would be so weird.

"You need someone to take your mind off of Cooke." Lynz added. She was the only person who I had told about my 'ex-boyfriend'.

"Lynz, that's crazy. I don't like Frank." I laughed happily.

"Fine, maybe once she has him you'll want him." Lynz shrugged. I doubt that. "Think about it." She added. I thought about it. Frank was....Frank. He was one of my best friends. Nothing more. Sure, he was good-looking but that didn't mean we should be together.

"Nothing?" She asked. I nodded.

"It'll happen. Give it some time." Lynz laughed.

"Frank? Olive said you looked cute today." Lynz said quickly. I rolled my eyes. "She's playing." I assured.

"Oh? So, I don't look cute today?" Frank asked with a tiny smile.

"No! You are...Just.. Ugh!" I turned away from him. I was sure that I was blushing.
"You got nervous! You love him." She said quietly. ""Do you think Frank is unattractive? "

"No. It doesn't mean anything, though. I think Mikey is cute but that doesn't mean I want to date him." i said while I looked over at Mikey who was reading a Batman comic.

"Why can't you just admit it?" Lynz asked.

"Admit what? There isn't anything to admit." I answered slowly.
