It Takes Disaster to Learn a Lesson

You wake up and see Jacko looking at his ankle. You look and see it’s almost the double of the size. You get up and get him some ice and put it on his ankle. You smile at him.

“Morning,” you said.
“Thanks,” Jacko said.

You kiss his lips.

“Do you want to go back home?” You ask.
“I’m got this figure out. We spend three days so the swelling can go down so I can walk through the airport,” Jacko said.
“Ok and I come home with you?”
“Yeah.”
“Ok.”

You smile and lay with him. You help him to the car and check out. You listen to him and drive to his house. You take a deep breath smiling at him. Jacko smiles at you and open his car door.

“Wait ok baby,” You said.
“Fine,” Jacko said.

You go and let him lean on him. He knocks on the door. It opens and a girl smiles at you.

“Is this the Sheila you love Jacko?” The girl ask.
“Yes Heather. Anna this is my little sister Heather,” Jacko said.
“Hi,” You said.
“G’ day, come on in,” Heather said.
“Thanks Heather.”

You help him to the couch and pull a chair so he can put his foot on it.

“Are you ok Jacko?” Heather asks.
“Sprain ankle and wrist,” Jacko ask.
“Do you need ice?” A woman asks.
“Please Mum,” Jacko said.

She comes in and looks at you.

“God, you are pregnant,” She said.
“Mum this is Anna, Anna this is my mum,” Jacko said.
“Hi,” You said.
“G’ day, what are you having?” his Mum ask.
“It’s a boy,” Jacko said.
“Aw here is the ice.”

You grab some and put it on his ankle.

“Is that enough?” His mum asks.
“Yeah,” Jacko ask.
“Great.”

His dad comes in and looks at you.

“Hey son, what happen to you?” His dad asks.
“I got hurt last night,” Jacko said.
“What going on?”
“Spend today and tomorrow here then go to the states and see a specials so I can get in to x-fighters.”
“I was looking forward to spending time with Anna,” His Mum said.
“There will be time Mum.”

“What is the kid’s name?” His mum asks.
“Tobias,” Jacko ask.
“Tobias what?”

Jacko looks at you.

“Why are you looking at me?” You ask.
“What is going to be his last name?” Jacko ask.
“Do you not want it to be strong?”
“I was just making sure.”
“So Tobias Strong?” His dad said.
“Yeah,” You said.

“Middle name?” His mom ask.
“What name are you thinking?” You ask Jacko.
“Honda,” Jacko said.
“No.”
“Um Deegan.”
“No, nothing to deal with Freestyle.”
“Whoops?”

You smile and tap his cheek.

“No Bike names,” You said.
“It’s just the middle name,” Jacko said.
“So it can be Jade?”
“Jade, um that’s a great name Tobias Jade Strong.”

“Why Jade?” his dad ask.
“AFI,” Jacko said.
“Get him away from the bike,” You said.

“I drew this for you Jacko,” Heather said.

Heather hand him a paper. He smiles and kisses her forehead.

“Thanks Joey it’s a great picture,” Jacko ask.
“Really?” She ask.
“Yeah don’t you think so?”

He show you and you see a nice picture of him in the air on his bike.

“That’s really good,” you said.
“I want to go to the art school in Sydney,” Heather said.
“That’s a really good school. You should get in without a problem.”
“You think so?”
“If your grades are good as well they really like smart people going there.”

“How do you know that?” His mum asks.
“I got accepted. I was going to go there before I move to Temecula.”
“Oh.”
“You didn’t know?”
“No, that was before we start seeing each other.”
“Ok.”

His parents ask some more questions before they leave. Jacko smiles at you. You kiss his cheek.

“Need anything Baby?” You ask.
“Help me to my bedroom we watch movies in there for a bit ok,” Jacko said.
“Ok.”

You grab the ice and he hopes to his room and lay on the bed. You put the ice back on his ankle. You kiss his forehead.

“How are you feeling?” You ask.
“I don’t want to miss x-fighters or x-games,” Jacko said.
“So your wrist needs to heal since you can get a shoot for your ankle?”
“Yeah that’s right.”

You smile and kiss his lips.

“On the pipe is over there put it in love,” Jacko said.
“First one?” you ask.
“Yeah.”

You go and grab it and put it in.
