It Takes Disaster to Learn a Lesson
Baby Shower
You drive to May’s house and sigh and go and get out. The aunts and cousin smile and said hi. You go and hug May.
“They hate me,” You told May.
“You pregnant out of wedlock it’s ok,” May said.
“Thanks.”
“No problem.”
She hands you a glass. You take a drink and chough a little.
“What is this?” You ask.
“The punch they had to have,” May said.
“What theme is it?”
“It’s an animal theme.”
“Great,”
“Ok everyone the soon to be moms are here,” Your aunt Christy said.
Vicky comes and smiles at you.
“Coagulations Anna,” Vicky said.
“Thanks same to you,” You said.
She hugs you and sits down and holds her Belly.
“I can’t wait to have little Haven in my arms,” Vicky said.
“Having a girl?” You ask.
“Yeah.”
“Ok Vicky what are you naming her?” Her mom Valerie ask.
“It’s going to be Haven Faith Colet,” Vicky said.
“Anna you naming the baby what?” May ask.
“Tobias Jade Strong,” you said.
“Are you still a potter?” Valerie asks.
“Yeah, his father…”
“You should name him potter the father isn’t going to be in his life,” Your aunt Amanda said cutting you off.
“You don’t even know the father of my child.”
“He is lazy,” your mom said.
“No he isn’t.”
May came out and with the cake.
“We are having cake?” You ask.
“Not yet Anna,” May said.
“Fine.”
“Ok we got the baby names and sexes, why not play the games?”
The aunts agree, so May pass some papers out.
“Ok I gave you a list of animals write out the baby names of those animals,” May said.
You write the names down. May collect them and look at people.
“So who won May?” Vicky asks.
“Anna,” May said.
“Why?” Valerie asks.
“She knew the one thing people didn’t”
“What?” Your mom ask.
“Kangaroo.”
“What’s a baby Kangaroo call?” Vicky asks.
“A Joey,” You said.
“A Joey?” Christy asks.
“Yeah, I haven’t got a clear answer why from everyone, but that’s what they call it.”
“Yeah now we going to make balloon animals,” Your mom said.
You guys play some more games. They get food out since Vicky was complaining about being hungry. You pick at it since the food looks sick to you. You go in the kitchen after May call you in to it. She hands you a plate of Pizza.
“I don’t know how Vicky eats those but it makes me sick watching them eat it,” May say taking a bit of the pizza.
“Thanks,” You said.
“No problem, want to make this a little fun?”
“How so?”
“Vicky says the punch makes her sick and it’s horrible but they drink it like it’s the best thing so want to spike it?”
“Yes.”
You look and see there is nothing in her cabinet. You go and drove to the liquor store and smile at the guy.
“Hello,” The guy asks.
“Hey,” You said.
You grab a bottle of Vodka and he smiles at you and you buy it. You go out.
“Anna?” You hear a guy ask.
You look and see Tony.
“Oh hey,” You said.
“You are pregnant?” He asks.
“Yeah.”
“And drinking?”
“It’s for some family members.”
“Oh ok. You want to go out?”
“I’m pregnant.”
“No weeding ring.”
“I’m seeing the father good bye.”

You drive and run up and gave it To May. She smile and pour it in. You eat the pizza before guys going in the room again. May hands out the cake. You go and get a bottle of water and sit back down. They hand the presets out and a lot of people got you parenting books and dippers. You smile and your phone rings. You grab your phone and see its Todd.
“Hello?” You ask.
“Jacko is cranky,” Todd said.
“Are you guys talking about x-games?”
“Yeah so?”
“He just got the news two weeks ago that he was not able to go Toddie. He is pissy because you shoving his defeat in his face. Leave it.”
“Fine, oh we are having the baby shower today.”
“I know bye.”
“Bye.”
You hang up and hug May.
“I got to go,” You said.
“Ok, oh my gift didn’t come out,” May said.
“You got me something?” you ask.
“Yeah, hold on ok.”
“Ok.”
May goes and gives you a box. You open it and see a video baby monitor and a photo album of you. You smile and hug her.
“Thanks May,” You said.
“No problem, I figure it will be nice for you to have, and I couldn’t find a baby book you would like,” May said.
You hug her.
“Jeff gave me one of the first day you and Jacko meet,” May said.
You look and smile seeing some pictures of you and Jacko towards the end.
“He treats you good just don’t let him screw up,” May said.
“He was 20 and I was 18. We were growing up,” You said.
“I know bye.”
“Bye.”
You hug her and make sure everything got in the car and drove to Deegan’s. You go out and grab the book you smile seeing the guys talking. You go and kiss Jacko’s cheek. He smiles and looks at you.
“Are you ok?” Jacko ask.
“Yeah where is Ashleigh?” You ask.
“She is inside helping with dinner. Are you sure you are fine something isn’t right with you.”
“I’m fine. It’s fine love.”
You kiss his lips and go inside.
“Hey, are you ok?” Ashleigh asks.
“MY family hates me,” You said.
Ashleigh comes and hugs you. You cry holding on to her.
“It’s ok. Hayden, get me Todd please,” Ashleigh ask.
“Ok,” Hayden said.
He runs outside. She brought you to the couch. Todd comes in and grab you and hug you.
“It’s going to be ok,” Todd said.
“Everyone hates me,” you said.
“I know, it’s how it goes but it will get better.”

“Remember there were those times where I had to take you from May and go away after I moved here?”
“Yeah but…”
“They just don’t handle us growing up good.”
“It’s more than just mom and dad everyone but May hates me.”
“It’s because you have faith in Jacko, and really happy about this. You and Jacko got everything under control, and if you don’t you have enough people to run to for any problem.”

Hayden comes and hand you a stuff bike. You smile and hug him tight.
“Thanks Hayden, this is great,” You said.
“Really?” Hayden asks.
“Yeah I make sure he plays with it.”

You smile and kiss his forehead.
“I help him like I did with Huston,” Hayden said.

He smiles and kisses your cheek. You smile and he runs away.
“Has he always been like that?” Todd asks.
“Hayden has had a crush on her since she moved in with you,” Marissa said.
“Really?”
“Yes that’s why I sit next to him and he eats everything I give him,” You said.
“True.”
You whip the tears.
“You were a cute baby. Who made this?” Marissa asks.
You look and see Marissa holding the photo album.
“May,” You said.
“It’s good,” Ashleigh said.
Todd goes and laughs a little.
“I remember that. It was the first day you came home. You hit May and Jen away and never liked them till you were two. It was always me that was the first time I hold you”
You laugh and get up.
“I will be outside,” You said.
“Ok, go with Jacko, he’s cranky,” Todd said.
“You were mean to him,” Ashleigh said.
You laugh and go out and sit down next to Jacko and see him and Jimmy Hill talking with Colin.
“How are you?” Jacko ask.
“I’m fine,” You said.

“I just broke down. I’m fine,” You said.

You get up and sit on his lap.
“What you guys talking?” You ask.
“About the guys being assholes to the ones not going to x-games,” Jimmy said.
“You guys had a choice in try to stop it. Jacko is injured.”
Colin laughs and shakes his head.
“Are you babying him?” Colin asks.

“Yes she is. It’s so funny. He is lying on the couch and she is running around the house,” Jimmy said.

“Yeah it was great, the old ladies got buzzed from the spiked punch,” You said.

“I had water, and I had Pizza.”
“Anna, are you fine with Lasagna?” Hayden asks.
“Is that what everyone cooking?” You ask.

You go in with Hayden and hug Marissa and Ashleigh.

“Hayden said we having Lasagna,” You said.

“I do, and Jacko wont’ let me cook it. Something about to much work, and he isn’t a big fan of it.”
“He likes his stakes and vegetables.”

You go back out and cuddle in Jacko’s arms and kiss his neck. You four all talk and eat then you open the presents. There were many blankets, clothes, and Toys that deal with Motocross. You go home and lay down on the couch. You kiss Jacko’s lips.
“I love you Jacko,” You said.
“I love you too love. Are you better?” Jacko ask.
“I’m sore.”
“Where?”
“My back.”
“Let’s get to bed, and I try to help ok.”

Jacko start rubbing your back. You smile and he stops and kisses your forehead.

“Has he kicked again?”
“A little, not a lot today.”
He rubs your stomach and Tobias kicked.
“He knows his dad. He kicks the hardest when you touch the belly,” You said.

He kisses your belly before kissing your lips and going to bed.
