As vampires, we have many different kinds of laws. Most are formal. They are laws which a man would never seek to cross unless he so desired death. Some laws are unwritten, but even more important than those which I have recorded.
It might seem juvenile to most, but the most important laws we had were those unwritten laws regarding women. Rules we were taught as fledglings. Rules that we devoted our very lives to.
Seven of us. Seth, Victor, myself, Waylon, Hector, Mathias, and Dylan. We were the seven most powerful vampires. Protectors of our kind.
And then laws were broken.
Brothers were betrayed.
Lives were taken.
The world we had created was lost forever.
All for power.
All for lust.
All for love.
