Romantic Nightmare

Chapter 51

~Trinity's P.O.V~

Who would of thought, that in less then a year, I would loose my mom, the guy I love would be a vampire, my only friend is now involved with vampires, my dad is too, and I am now spying on my boyfriend's brother, who is also a vampire's, date with my friend, who is now a minion to a vampire.

What. Are. The. Odds.

I flicked a bug off my leg as I sat outside a small cafe, in the middle of no where. "I would of gone with disguises." I mumbled. "She would have recognized us." He said as he squished a bug on my leg.

I sighed as I looked up at him. "We can't even hear them, it's pointless." I complained. "At least we know he's safe." He sighed. I shrieked as a bee stung my leg and hit behind Xander. "Make the bug's go away!" I whined.

I laid my arms around him and laid my head on his shoulder. "The bugs are trying to eat me." I whined. He chuckled to himself then sighed. "You're so loud." He said, laughing. I kissed him quick on the cheek, plopped down next to him, and peered over to Clyde.

"Nothing's happening." I said, dully. "I know, but that's good." He said, quietly. "Mmhmm." I nodded, laying my back on Xander. I bring my knees to my chest as Xander looks up at Clyde and Annie again.

I mindlessly started playing with the grass. I finally gathered the courage to say something that has been on my mind alot.

"Xander, why don't I feel safe?" I say quietly. Xander looked at me as a mix of confusion, sympathy, and care cross over his face. "I don't know Trinity." He said, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "You should because you have me and Clyde."

I turn my head down and start picking at the grass again. "If I never moved here, would things be different?" I ask again. "Yes, it would. I wouldn't have found a girl I love." "With your dad, would he still of done everything he did?"

He remained quiet for a minute or two as he checked the couple. "Maybe. I don't know, but no matter what, you should feel safe. Why don't you?"

I began playing with my fingers again. "Well, I don't know. Well, I do. It' s just." I pause as I look up to him ." I don't want to live home alone. Even after this all ends, my dad and I will never be the same. I'm actually afraid of him."

I sighed and continued. "Now, all I have is basically you two. Now all I ever do is, like, complain about how fucked up my life is. Ugh." I groan as I put my face on his chest. "Make it go away!" I groan.

I felt him sigh against me and start running his fingers through my hair. "I love you, Trinity. I don't care how much you 'complain.' Don't hide things." "I love you too." I whisper as I sit up. I stand up to check up on Clyde and Annie and end up pausing in my tracks.

"Xander." I manage to whisper out over several times. My voice sounded hollow and dry. "Yeah?" He asks coming up behind me. "Clyde and Annie." I said backing away, into him. "What about them? Is he getting information?"

"They aren't there."
