Chapter 40: Weird
Kiara’s POV
I’m at school walking with Jake, holding his hand as we went to our class.
“Where is your lame friend?” Taylor asked
“I don’t have lame friends so I don’t know what you’re talking about” I said
“Yes you do. Zach is super lame, he is the most pathetic person in this world” Taylor said
“What has he ever done to you? Why do you hate him so much?” I asked
“Simply because he is Zach, I don’t like the way he is” Taylor said
“Zach is a great person, why don’t you see that?” Jake asked
“Are you so blind that you don’t see who he really is?” Taylor asked
“It’s you who doesn’t see who the real Zach is” I said
“Zach is stupid and so is Megan for going out with him. I don’t know how she could have gone so low” Taylor said
“Shut up before I do something” I said
“What are you going to do?” Taylor asked smugly
“You don’t want to test me” I said
“You can’t do shit” Taylor said
“Oh you wanna see” I said getting mad
“She’s not worth it” Jake said

“How could Zach be related to that?” Jake asked

“Guess where Zach took me yesterday?” I asked, I looked over at him and he smiled

“Disney Land” I said

“We has so much fun, I felt like a little kid again” I said

“How come you didn’t tell me?” Megan asked a little annoyed
“I wanted it to be a surprise” Zach said
“Oh, it was, you had me blindfolded” I said
“But I was worth it at the end right?” Zach asked rising an eyebrow
“Defiantly” I said
“How come you didn’t take me?” Megan asked
“It was a promise I made her, but is someone jealous?” Zach teased
“Of course not, why should I be jealous” Megan said then kissed him. I think she really was jealous, oh grate.
“Zach, you wanna hang out later at my house?” Megan asked
“Sorry Babe, the guys and I have practice today” Zach said
“You guys practice so much, even though Michael isn’t here all the time” Megan said
“I know but if we want to get better we have to practice” Zach said
“Speaking of practice, hockey practice stat next week” Jake said
“That means less time with you since I’m so busy with cheer” Megan said hugging him.
I just got home from a date with Jake. He is so cute, I love being with him, he makes me feel so special.
"Why so smiley?" my mom asked

"I'm glad to see you this happy" she said
"I've never felt like this towards a guy" I said
"Teenage love" she said sighing and went in the kitchen.
I got out of the shower and talked on the phone with Jake until he had to go. I was about to take a nap when I got a text from Rebecca saying that the guys are practicing and if I wanted to go hang out. I went to Michael's house, since today he didn't have class practice was at his house. I quietly opened the door not wanting to disturb them. The guys didn't even notice me come in, neither did Rebecca and Megan.
"So have you and Zach?" Rebecca asked winking
"Not yet" Megan said in a mischievous tone
"Oh, so you want to?" Rebecca asked
"Of course I do and I have a plan" Megan said. This is awkward, especially since they are talking about my best friend.
"Hey girls" I said

"What were you talking about?" I asked
"Nothing" Megan said
"Zach" Rebecca said at the same time
"Oh so now Zach is nothing?" I asked
"Of course not" Megan said
"I was kidding" I said
"Hi Kira!" Michael yelled

"I didn't even notice you come in" Cam said
"How long have you been here?" Zach asked
"Not that long, you guys were so into your music that you guys didn't even notice me" I said

"You guys are getting better" I said
"How are things with Michael?" I asked after the guys returned to their practice
"Honestly, I don't feel the same as before, I feel as if something is missing and I think he does too" Rebecca said
"So you want to break up?" Megan asked
"I don't know, I feel as if we got into this friend state" Rebecca said
"If you're feeling that way I think you should end things soon" I said
"Ok change of subject" Rebecca said
"When I came in I heard something about some plan, for what?" I asked
"Something about me and Zach, it's a surprise I am going to have for him. You won’t really care" Megan said
"A surprise for me" Zach said standing behind Megan, I didn't even see him.
"Yup, and I know you will love it" Megan said winking
"We are going for food" Michael said. We ate our food then we went back to Michael's house. The guys didn't want to practice anymore so we’re watching TV.
"Zach" Megan whispered
"Yeah" Zach said and she sat on him with her legs around his waist
"I love you" she said and before he could say anything she kissed him. They continued to kiss and we turned back to the TV. I turned back to them and she pressed herself closer to him.
"Ok kids, break it up" Michael said. Megan glared at Michael, Zach didn't notice since he looked at the TV blushing.
"Ok guys on Thursday let’s do something fun" Michael said
"What do you want to do?" I asked
"Something different" Michael said
"How about us guys do something" Cam said
"Oh so you're avoiding us" I said
"Yeah, got a problem" Cam said
"Yeah I do" I said as we pretended to fight
"Then do something" Cam said
"Don't do something stupid" I said
"But that's what's fun" Michael complained
"Right Zach?" Cam asked. We all turned to Zach and he was sleeping
"Dude wake him up" Nate said. Cam shook him but still nothing.
"He's a heavy sleeper. He gave me a big scare, onetime we had gone to the snow and we were playing Hide and Seek, I found him laying there with his eyes closed and we wouldn't wake up, I didn't know what to do since shaking and yelling at him wasn't working so then I got my water bottle and dumped it on him finally making him wake up, I yelled at him for scaring me and he said that he got sleepy from waiting for me and the snow was soft, that crazy kid" I said shaking my head.
"I know how to wake him" Michael said, before we could ask he punched Zach in his stomach. Zach quickly woke up obviously.
"Michael!" we yelled. Zach was on his side clutching his stomach and gasping.
"Sorry man, didn't know how to wake you" Michael said and Zach glared at him.
Zach gave me and Megan a ride. When we were driving off she gave me this look before going in her house but I pretended not to notice. There is something wrong with her and it’s not just me she gives weird looks to. I don't think the guys have noticed though. Maybe I should tell Cam. I was laying down when my phone rang.
"Hello" I said answering
"Hey" Cam said
"Funny, I was just thinking about you" I said
"Must me some telepathic powers" Cam said
"Have you noticed Megan has been acting weird lately?" I asked
"Now that I think about it I think I have" Cam said
"Really, me too" I said
"Should we tell Zach?" Cam asked
"I don't know, what would we tell him?" I asked
"That’s right, we don't even know what's going on" Cam said
"We need to keep a closer eye on her" I said
"Yeah, there's something up with her" Cam said. We hung up and went to sleep thinking about everything that’s going on.

super lame name for the chapter i know, couldn't think of anythingrandom but i help at this day care center and some little girls were playing house and a little boy was standing there watching them when the teacher sits with the little girls and he starts laughing a lot and the teachers askes him whats so funny and he said that shes not a girl and then i asked him what the teacher was and he said a teacher haha then the teacher said oh so your a boy and he said no then she asked him what he was and he said a juan lol hes so cute :)
