Marina's POV

Today is the day of my party! Everyone seems like they are hiding something and I really want to know what they are up to. I was done getting ready and my mom told me to get out of the house but now I wonder why as I'm walking. I don't know exactly where I'm going but whatever. On my way to nowhere Nathan saw me and told me to hang out with him.

It was finally time for the party and I was sitting on the sand talking with Ray, he's a friend I made a while back. In a little bit my family from Los Angeles got here and I was so happy.

"Dude you're finally here!" I yelled

"Yeah I know and it's so nice here" Michelle, my cousin said.

"Who is your friend?" Marissa asked

"This is Ray" I said and they introduced themselves.

"Ok so-" I was saying but I felt some hands over my eyes

"Guess who?" the guys said at the same time

"That's cheating but I know it's Cam" I said smirking

"What, how did you know?" Cameron asked

"Because I heard your voice in the middle" I said
“Whatever" Cameron said

"Look at the sunset its so pretty" I said

"Yeah it is" said Sarah, my other cousin

"Lets go dance" Zach said pulling me

"What? No, you guys can go, I'm not dancing" I said

"Oh come on" Ray said

"I don't like dancing in front of people" I said

"It's your party, you have to" Kira said

"Mina you know how I dance and I don't care, besides you danced at prom" Zach said

"That took a lot of convincing" I said. Zach and Ray finally convinced me and I danced with them but not before I dragged my cousins. After we danced I opened my presents and I loved them, Zach told me he will give me mine later.

Zach's POV

Once the sun was down me and the guys played some songs, me played a few covers and one of our own. Mina was excited and thinks this is what I was talking about when I said I'll give her the present later but it's not. We finished playing and Ray came up to the microphone.

"Mina, I have a surprise for you" Ray said. Everyone was waiting impatiently for the surprise when he started singing her favorite song.

Everyone was speechless then started clapping. Once she told us that she would like someone to dedicate her this song, well she got her wish.

"Mina I wanna be your boyfriend, will you be my girlfriend?" Ray asked. Mina's face expressed shock and confusion but then nodded smiling. He ran up to her and spun her in the air. When she was back on the ground she saw a guy and she ran up to him.

"Angel!" Mina yelled as she tightly hugged a guy who had a giant bow on his head.

"So do you like your present?" he asked

"I loved it" she said

"Well I am the best you could have huh" he said

"Oh Angel I missed you so much" she said

"I missed you too but I think you forgot all about me" he said

"Why do would you think that?" Mina asked

"Because I just found out you have a boyfriend and you never told me anything about the guy" he said

"Oh you mean Ray" she said smiling

"Oh so that's his name, I'm going to have a little talk with him" he said and she rolled her eyes smiling

"Do you know him?" Ray, who was standing next to me asked

"No, I've never seen him" I said. Mina came over to us with Angel.

"Ray, Zach meet Angel, Angel meet Ray and Zach" she said

"Nice to meet you" Angel said

"Zach it my friend and Ray is my boyfriend, guys Ray is my brother" she said

"You have another brother?" I asked

"Who has another brother?" Kira asked putting an arm around my shoulder

"Mina" I said

"How come you never told us you had another brother?" Kira asked

"You never asked" Mina said

"You never told anyone about your cool older
brother, I feel hurt" Angel said

"Shut up Angel, so why did you come now?" Mina asked

"I came to visit you well it was more like to give you a surprise" Angel said

"I'm glad you did" Mina said

"I'm going to say hi to Mom and Dad" Angel said and left.

"How old is your brother?" Ray asked

"20" Mina said

"When are you cutting the cake?" Sarah asked

"How about now because I want some too" Mina said. When they finished cutting the cake Mina sat on the sand with Ray. While she was with Ray I was with Megan. She was behind me and kept whispering things in my ear and she also kept running her hands under my shirt.

"Mina" I said sitting next to her

"Yeah Zach" she said

"Come with me, I have to give you your present" I said

"I thought you guys playing was the present" she said

"Nope, so follow me" I said. She got up and I took her to my car. I had just went home to bring her present.

"What is it?" she asked when I handed her a box

"Open it" I said. She opened it and a little puppy jumped out at her.

"No way! Zach, you got me a puppy!" Mina yelled excited looking at the little black dog.

"So you like it?" I asked

"Of course!" she yelled hugging me.

"She reminds me of you" she said

"What? How?" I asked

"She has blue eyes like you" she said

"Oh yeah huh" I said

"I'm going to name her Midnight" she said

"Thank you so much" she said

"No problem, I know how much you've been wanting a dog" I said.

"Everyone, meet Midnight!" she yelled when we got back and everyone crowded around her trying to see the puppy.

I saw Kira looking at the water, I got behind her then picked her up and threw her over my shoulder and got in the water.

"NO! Zach don't! Stop! Don't-" she yelled but it was too late because I threw her in the water. I was laughing when she pulled my foot and I fell in. I was under the water but I couldn't get up and I started to panic when the water started rushing in my mouth but then I was pulled up and Kira was laughing. I started coughing a lot and Kira stopped laughing.

"Hey are you ok?" she asked and I nodded as I continued coughing.

"What's wrong!" she asked and she moved my hair out of my face.

"I swallowed too much water when I couldn't get up, I think I was drowning" I said

"Oh Zach I'm soo sorry" she said

"I didn't want to drown you I just wanted you get back at you and wanted to give you a little scare" she said sounding really guilty

"Don't worry about it" I said

"I'm sorry" she said

"It's ok" I said

"But Zach-" she started saying

"Oh yeah, have all the fun your selves, not cool!" Mikey yelled. Soon other people were in the water. I got away from them and sat on the sand then Megan sat with me. She had her head rested on my shoulder and my head rested on her head. We stayed my that for quite some time. I was about to kiss her when I felt something lick my arm, I turned and saw that it was Midnight.

“Hey girl, now aren’t you the cutest" I said picking her up. I had her like a baby and she kept licking my arm

"Aw she likes me" I said to Megan

"I do too" Megan said and kissed my cheek. Mina passed by with Ray and it looked like they were looking for something and she didn't look very happy.

"Lose something?" I asked

"Zach you found her!" Mina yelled happily

"She's a little trouble maker" I said laughing

"But she's super cute" Mina said

"How did you lose her anyway?" I asked

"I put her down for a moment and when I got back to her she wasn't there. Mina was so mad at me I bet she would have dumped me if I lost her, I think she likes Midnight
more than me" Ray said and we laughed

"She's my little baby, the moment I saw her I loved her, she's just too adorable" Mina said

"I knew I did good giving her to you" I said

"Do you want to continue playing with her?" Ray asked

"Yeah, I'll play with her and give her back to you later" I said. They walked away holding hands and I went back to playing with Midnight. I heard laughter and I turned to see Mina and Ray chasing each other. Those two are so cute.
