Sunshine When She's Gone

A required confidential vaccine comes to the world and kids from the ages of 14-17 years old have to take it in order to prevent a recent school virus kids are in danger of catching. When the vaccination goes wrong, many kids are sent away from their families to prevent any way of spreading the new found disease. Children are slowly dying as they are isolated in an underground world. Six teenagers are chosen in front of all 5 million and are sent to find the cure. Is this some cure to save themselves and their entire population of youths or is it for something bigger?
