Taste of Blood & Ashes

The job was boring, the double click at the end of the castle hall way of the wing I was in still sitting on the floor. When I turn my head it was a blonde girl, when she saw me she walk against the wall staring at me. I open my mouth to talk but she bet me to it, "Hello?~ she said stopping directly in front of me, "Who are you?~
"Umm, nobody.~ I said, "The maid~
"Oh, your quit beautiful.~ She said, "I'm a little jealous.~
"That's ridiculous.~ I said, "A fine maiden like yourself is jealous of my looks?~
"Yes,~ she said, "My names orchid.~
"Have I heard that name before?~ I ask.
"Properly, since I am a princess.~
I gasp, I drop the supplies on me on the floor next to me, and bow.
"I'm so sorry I didn't know you was a princess.~ I glace up a little.
She smiled, "That's fine my dear...What's your name?~
"Floural.~ I said quickly, still not lifting my head.
"My dear Floural, lift your head my dear.~ She said calmly.
I slowly lift my head,
"Follow me.~ She said walking away.
"But, I have to finish cleanin-."
She turn, "Just say I excuse you from your duty's.~
I nod and run up to caught up, she began walking again once I did.
"So, what are you the princess of?~ I ask.
"Newlounders.~ She said, "The west.~
I nod, "How does it feel to be a princess.~
"Boring but, nice.~ she shrugged.
We enter a big ball room, were there was lots of royalty talking and dancing. I stop in my track, "What?~ she said turning to me, noticing I stop.
"Am I even aloud to go in here?~
"Yes, silly.~ she said, "If a royalty brings you in here, and I did so It'll be fine just don't lose me.~ I nod slowly, I was so stiff.
