My Teddy Bear

Hearing my door open I poke my head out from the covers. Noticing a large figure walk into my room and go over to my hammock I sit up and crawl out and over to where the man now lays.

“Can I join?” noticing a shrug I smile and climb in next to the man. Feeling his arms wrap around my waist I smile and pull myself closer and rub his bicep lightly with my thumb. “Did you find out?”

“They said I will play tonight.”

“Omg that’s great!!!! I can’t wait to see you back out there on the ice then I don’t have to baby-sit your ass anymore.” Giggling I know he has rolled his eyes at me and pulls me close.

“You take nap with me like before?”

“Yea I will we just can’t let my brother find out I don’t even think he likes you coming into my room like this after practice. He thinks we doing something bad.”

Feeling his chest move up and down as he chuckles I smile and kiss his cheek. I wish we were doing something though…sigh it would never happen my brother would ship me off and my other brothers would kill him on the ice. Life isn’t far feeling his hand run across my back I close my eyes and feel chills running through me.

“What on your mind? You never be this quite before.”

“Nothing just tired yet I was up last night working on a paper.” Stifling a yawn I curl closer to him almost passing out I feeling his lips on my forehead and whisper in my ear.

“Yo mother fucker you don’t do that to my guys!” banging on the glass in front of my as a buffalo player slates by.

“You are so fucking crazy you know that?”

Turning I roll my eyes at Ashley and take a sip of my beer pulling my Malkin jersey down a bit I watch the game. “and you wont be my friend if I wasn’t so I would sush it if I were you.” Smiling I bang on the glass again and start cursing when I see a hit on Geno bring him down to the ice.

“Ooh god no.” standing up I feel Ashley push my out of my seat and nod saying I can go back to see him.

“Thank you ill let you know what’s up.” Running out of my seat I rush down to the trainers to find him laying on one of the tables, grunting in pain.

“Evgeni?” walking over to his side I run my hand through his hair.

“Don’t leave side please.”

Nodding my head I wipe the tears that start to appear as they go to get his knee ex-rayed.

“Torn MCL and ACL….. I am going to kill that mother fucker.” Pacing around the room I wait for Geno to get back from the doctors to see if they will operate. Jordan places his hands on my shoulders to stop me and forces me to look up.

“You need to calm down this is why Geno forced you home with me. You need to relax he is fine. Everything will be okay.”

“But he hurt-“

Rolling his eyes he covers my mouth.” I don’t want to hear it. Your lucky I am being a nice brother and letting Geno stay here with you. I don’t trust you alone with him and alcohol.”

Sighing I hug him. “Thank you for being a great brother and we are nothing more then friends you should know they by now. He is my BFF.”

“Whatever just behave I have practice so I will be back soon. Calm down and relax I don’t want you to go and break something then kill Geno because you are pissed he is hurt.”

Rolling my eyes I go and start cooking lunch asi hear the door open and a voice talking in another language to someone.

Peeking around the door frame I smile as I see Geno heading towards my room with his crutches. “lets add the finishing touches.” adding some carrots with the sandwich I head to my room to find him laying out on my bed staring up at the ceiling with the light buzz of the tv in the background. I notice how the tv cast a shadow across his face and showing his features. I blush as I walk next to the bed setting the lunch down on the night stand I crawl in bed with him and move so he can lay his head in my lap. “are you hungry?”

“very.” Seeing him smile I reach over and go to hand him his sandwich to find him holding his mouth open for the food.

“I am not feeding you. Your arms still work.” Handing it to him he laughs and sets it on the bed next to him.

Playing with his hair I turn back to the tv noticing he put on “She’s Out of My League” I daze off thinking about how much in the past year my life has changed from moving in with my brother, hanging with his friends/ teammates, and falling in love with my teddy bear.

“Nic?” feeling a hand being placed on top of mine I look down aat him.

“Mhm?”

“I- I- ummm….. Я действительно очень нравишься, и я хочу поцеловать тебя, но я боюсь твоего брата-“

“Evgeni what did you say? Please talk in English.” Smiling I raise an eyebrow, “Now what did you say?”

“I say I really, really like you and I want to kiss you but I am scared of your brother.”

Feeling myself blush I tuck some hair out of my face. Looking into his eyes I feel him place a hand around the back of my neck and pull my head down close to his as he leans up and touches my lips softly with his. As soon as his lips touch mine I feel a shock run through my body, goose bumps rise on my skin I kisses back and smiling.

Moving around I curl up into his side as he pulls me close. “Will you go out with me?”

Smiling I pulling myself closer to him and kisses him lightly. “I’ve been waiting for you to say that every since I saw you.”

“Jordan won’t kill me-“

“Nope because if he would ever hurt my teddy bear he would never be able to have little Staals to run around his house.”

Hearing him laugh I smile as he chuckles and turn back to watching the movie so glad I moved here last year to end up finally meeting my teddy bear.
