The Shivers

Everything was converted to formulas and measurements, machines and information.

The world as we knew it had turned into ashes. A scientist named, Lorenz Macaro, created CGH’s (Computer Generated Humans) They began to run our work forces and schools. Everywhere one looked one saw them. They looked like humans except for their translucent skin and silver eyes. Everyone ignored the crisis and continued to face other problems. Mythology and creativity labeled the source of the madness that caused the Great War.

The humans were divided into different castes. Doctors, technicians, and mathematicians were part of the Silver caste. Artists, writers, and other creative people were part of the Grey caste and the rest of the society fell in the Black caste. The CGH’s created a substance that stopped us from freezing, and they developed other useful medicines. People killed each other for food. Animals began to starve. Many killed their owners and fed on them mercilessly. Everyone knew something was going to happen, but they didn’t intend for it to be like this...
