"First things first; I don't like you. Second; you're only my friend. Third; you're my only friend," I listed the reasons why I didn't want to be Evangeline's boyfriend. She stared at me with sad eyes, then sighed.
"Blah, blah, blah, David; blah, blah, blah," she replied, sounding bored. She obviously didn't like what she heard. I didn't actually care, though.
"Eve, don't be over-dramatic."
"I'm not!" she gasped dramatically, "How could you suggest such a thing?"
"Shut up, please. Are you going to this... Excursion... Thing?" I asked her, looking at my filled-out permission slip. I was forced to go.
Evangeline shrugged, and didn't say anything. I wondered who would actually go. I saw that Jamie chick hand in the permission slip awhile ago. I think the Victoria chick has also handed hers in, too.
At least I wasn't going alone. Some others had to walk around for an "educational" trip to a forest that no one was even allowed in...
