Status: On hiatus - don't know if it'll ever be finished tbh
Fat
Monday January 1
Grandmother poked my stomach today after I finished eating my New Years Day meal. I had one chicken drumstick and two baked potatoes and some carrots. And a small slice of leftover Christmas pudding with one scoop of low fat ice-cream on the side, as a treat.
She said, “You’re getting a bit chubby round the middle, Caleb. Save some food for the rest of us now, you don’t want to get fat.”
Mother didn’t say a word. Neither did Father, or anybody else. They all looked uncomfortably at their empty plates.
I guess no-one ever had the heart to tell me before that I was getting fat.
I don’t want to be fat.
I’m going on a diet.
