Doves on Fire
Oh My God :]
She tugged at my hair.
"Gerard."
"Gerard."
"Gee!"
So what if I only knew her for a week and a half? The sex was good.
I light up a cigarette and took a long dragged. I offered it to her.
"Thanks," she grabbed it.
"You liked pulling my hair."
"It's my way to control you."
I let out a laugh and relax. Sadye was taking a nap, so me and Pixie decided to fuck eachother.
From Sadye's room I heard her wail.
"I'm coming," I got up and put on sweat pants.
And she cried. "Geeeeeeeee!"
I ran to her room. "What!?"
"Gee! Gee!" Sadye cried.
"Oh yea. I'm here shhh," I picked her up.
"Does she always cry when she wakes?" Pixie asked, appearing. She was wearing my big Iron Maiden t-shirt.
"Yea. She doesn't like to be lonely."
We walked back to my room.
"Sadye," I sang. "Sadye who am I?" I pointed to myself.
"Gee!" she laughed.
"And who's that? That Pixie?" I pointed to Pixie.
She giggled.
"How bout Lizzy?" Pixie said.
"Lizzy?" I said.
"Elizabeth duh. How bout Lizzy Sadye?"
"Lee! Lili!" Sadye giggled.
"Aww she knows me!" Pixie grinned taking Sadye from me. She danced around with her. It was a funny sight.
"She knows my name," I smiled.
"Yea that's cute," Pixie sat on my bed and put Sadye between us.
"Are you ever gonna tell her?" Pixie asked.
"Tell her what? She's adopted?"
"Yea."
I rolled onto my back and lifted Sadye above me the Lion King style.
"Sadye? You're adopted," I told her. She giggled and stretched her arms to me.
"Probably when she's older. I don't wanna lie to her," I said.
"That's good. She needs to tell the truth. My foster parents never told me."
"You're adopted? Fo' sho'?"
"As fo' sho' as items in a museum."
"Wow. I didn't know."
"Gerard."
