Ugly Duckling

Nora told me that she is getting tired of hanging out with the Silver.

And that hanging out with me is a lot better.

It made me smile.

If only Jesse could hear her say that.

I came home the next morning grinning from ear to ear.

My toe nails were painted a pretty pink color - due to Nora's steady hand.

My hair in neat spiral curls.

Jesse gave me a dirty look.

And when she called me a "bitch", I knew what I was going to be doing once in the safety of my bedroom.

Something I hadn't done in a while.

And that I hoped to never have to do again.

But, you know, my razor sure doesn't like name calling.
