Blue Eyes Vs. Purple

Blue Eye's Vs. Purple Chapter 3

Vick, Alyssa, and I were at the beach walked along the boardwalk.
We were headed towards the rides and the food.
Vick’s hand brushed mine a few times, on our way there, and I blushed.
He grinned at me before slowly taking my hand.
I smiled and laced our fingers together.
Alyssa noticed and nudged me.
I smiled at her.
“So, what rollercoaster first?” she asked.
“That one,” I said pointing to the rollercoaster nearby.
“Let’s go,” Vick said leading us there.
We joined the line of people and made easy conversation.
Vick and Alyssa told me a little about our high school.
Apparently the musical program is a pretty big deal to them, witch is refreshing. At my old school all they cared about it the track and football team.
As we talked in line Vick still held my hand.
The line moved pretty quickly.
“Oh gosh,” Alyssa said.
“What?” Vick asked.
“Romeo Evans is coming this way,”
“So?” I asked.
“I all I can do it stare at him,”
“I’ll stand in his way,” I said as he joined our line.
“Hey, Vick, who’s you’re girl?” asked one of Romeo’s friends.
I turned around and smiled at the four boys.
“Hey guys, this is Lilly, she just moved here. Lilly, this is John, Omar, Phil, and you know Romeo,”.
“She does?” Romeo asked.
“Yeah, we bumped into each other a few days ago,”
“So, this is the cutie you were talking about?” Omar said.
“Too bad Vick got her,” Phil said.
“We’re not really dating…” Vick said.
“Oh…”
“We’re up next,” Alyssa said.
“Later,” we said walking through the gate.
“Awkward,” I muttered as we sat next to each other.
“Yeah,” Vick said laughing.
“I think it went well,”
I rolled my eyes and we all laughed.
The man walked around to make sure everyone was safe and the ride started.
****
“No more rides! Food time,” I said as we walked out of the exit line.
“Deal,” Alyssa said as I took Vick’s hand.
We walked to the food area and looked around.
“I want pizza,” I said
“I want a hoagie,” Alyssa said
“I want a burger,” Vick said.
“Okay, we’ll slip up and meet by the ice cream stand,” Alyssa said.
“Deal,” we agreed and walked in the direction of our food.
I stood in the line for a slice of pizza thinking of what I wanted.
I could get cheese or I could get the upside down.
Which one which one?
The upside down does look good…
“Hey beautiful, come here often?” Romeo said standing next to me.
I laughed. “Nice to see you too,”
“So, you and Vick?” he asked.
“Maybe,” I smiled.
“Why him and not me?”
“Excuse me? I don’t even know you,”
“Yet,”
I rolled my eyes. “I’m sure you’re a great guy and all-”
“You missed handsome,”
“And you missed cocky,”
“Ouch,” he said holding his chest like I injured him.
“Can I help you?” asked the guy behind the counter.
“Yeah, can I have a slice of upside down?”
“Make that two,” Romeo chimed in.
“Is this together?”
“Yes, we are,” Romeo said hugging my waist.
I made a face as the guy walked away.
“What is wrong with you?” I asked pushing him away.
“I don’t think you get it, Lilly, I get what I want and I want you,”
“Too bad, I don’t want you,”
“Yet,”
“Two up side down slices, five dollars,” the lady said.
Romeo reached into his pocket and pulled out a ten and handed it to her.
I opened my mouth but Romeo put his lips near mine.
“Shh,” he said as she handed him his change.
I pulled away and grabbed my pizza. “Thank you,” I said before walking away.
“Anytime princess,”
“Don’t call me that!” I yelled as I walked away.
Vick was standing by the ice cream stand as Alyssa and I walked over.
“Hey,” he smiled.
“Hi,” we said.
We walked to a random table and eat our food as we made easy conversation.
After our lunch we headed down to the beach and splashed around for an hour or so.
We walked home as the sun began to set.
Vick and I dropped Alyssa home before walking home together.
He took my hand in his as we made our journey home.
We came to my house and I looked at Vick.
“I’ll see you tomorrow,”
“Yup,” he grinned.
I kissed his cheek before I walked to my house.
“Wait! You forgot something,” Vick said running over to me.
“What?” I asked.
He placed his warm lips on mine and held me close.
Vick pulled away and grinned.
“I’m glad you remembered,” I smiled.
“Any time. See you later,” he smiled.
I kissed him again before walking inside.
