My Situations Are Not Irrelevant

Devilyn Alaska

I blinked my eyes in to focus a beam of light that was coming from a window flashed me in my eyes. I quickly pulled the covers over my eyes at that moment I recognize I wasn't in my room at home. It was quite odd for me, how could I forget the things that had transpired the previous night. Ronnie almost getting in a fight with the bouncer because most of us weren't old enough get in luckily Brett came to the rescue. Watching them perform as awesome. I remembered falling asleep in Max's arms….…

“Are you awake sleepy head?” Max whispered in my ear. Realizing Max's arms were still wrapped around me. I managed to wiggle my way around facing him

“Yes” I yawned and stretched

“You seem well rested”

“I am, where's everyone else?”

“There in the lobby eating breakfast” Max said pulling me closer to him. He kissed me it was our first time since the party. He grabbed my knee and hitched my leg on his side and turned both of us around on the bed so that he was hovering just inches above my body

“Max…you know I can't -”

“Don't worry I'm not, I'm just curious” he said sliding his hand under my shirt and continued to kiss me. It got intense and ardent quickly. I tugged on his hair as his grip on me got tighter. In the exuberance it got beyond control. Max took my shirt and threw it on the floor and began messing with my bra clips

“MAX! n-no” I yelled moving his hands

“What's wrong?!”

“I've told you! What happened to 'you don't have to do anything I don't too' bullshit” I screamed at him than I grabbed my shirt putting it back quickly

“Michelle” Max whispered his eyes looked sorrowful

“What?” said my voice getting softer

“I'm…I'm sorry it's just that…”his voice trailed off he pulled me closer and sat me next to him.

“I don't know why I never wanted a girl so much, it's weird I for me girls usually just come to me. You are different” he told me I wasn't sure how to reply so I didn't and Max continued with explanations

“The first day of school I saw you standing there and I waited for you to come following me but you didn't and for some reason I feel as if I'm chasing after something, I'm not used it ....”

It was Sunday our last day on the road we in Spring Valley after the show we had to head back home to Vegas. We all were sitting in a circular seating table at Verranzo's Pizzeria eating the best pizza I've ever had. But I didn't have much of an appetite in spite the delectableness of tonight's eatery. Everyone else was on there 4th or 6th slice I had eaten only 2. I sat there looking down on my plate everyone around way laughing have fun. Ronnie was being obnoxious but in humorous way. Feeling out of place as always. Even if I was surrounded by friends. I was half-excepting for Max to ask if I was ok because he was usually good at picking up how I felt….well at least until we got a little intimate. The waitress came by and put the bill on the table. It got quite from a few seconds until Ashley picked up the tab and looked inside she sat it back on the table and started digging through her purse.

“I've got it Ash, don't worry about it” Bryan said pulling out his wallet and putting a few bills in the tab before Ashley could reply. Leaving Verranzo's headed to the theater that they were performing. Waiting outside was Brett, and some other guy I forgot the name of. I think the only reason why I remember Brett's name because he is the owner of Epitaph records Bad Religion's guitarist and song writer.

“Hey guys, last show of the weekend are you ready?” Brett said to us smiling

“You know it!” Robert exclaimed cheerfully and with that we walked inside. Inside there was only a stage. The floor was black tile but red carpet on the edges of the theater. Speakers hung from the ceiling. There was another group of people there as well.

“This is Devilyn Alaska there going to perform before you” Brett addressed them a few handshakes and warm greeting we exchanged

“All of I our stuff is set up do you guys need any help with your equipment” the lead singer of the other band offered

“No, thanks I think we can handle our stuff” Carson answered on our behalf.

I was putting some amplifier cords backstage when I heard Ronnie voice in the speakers

“Check 1, 2, 3…look at me I'm bass my girlfriends here look at me I'm cool”

Everyone erupted in laughter
