Heartland

The house was suddenly full of laughter and chatter.

Alice stood before the stairs observing the people.

And then, a beam of light was directed unto her.

The people turned to look at here.

Alice took her time coming down since everyone wanted her to slip and break her face.

When she came down, people went back to what they were doing.

"Alice."

She quickly turned around and she saw the Prince standing 10 feet away from her.

Then he started blending into the crowd.

Alice jumped to her feet and followed him.

The people glared at Alice as she shoved her way through them.

Her heels were clicking on the ground as she quickly walked.

The Prince suddenly turned to a corner and he disappeared.

Alice stood there looking a little to the left and observing a pillar from the corner of her eye.

An arm snaked its way to her waist as she stared into a pair of gold eyes.

The Prince smirked, "Is it me or are you devilishly beautiful?"
