Chapter Twenty-one

Alice suddenly opened her eyes.

She felt the cold and hard shackles chained to the wall preventing her to move her hands.

The bottom-part of her dress was torn at the sides.

She observed the place she was in.

Hollow and dark, it was obvious she was in a prison cell.

The door creaked as it opened.

The Sanguine stepped in, grinning as he went.

"Why hello, Alice."

He wasn't the Prince after all. He had brown hair and white eyes.

He knelt down to her level and caressed her face.

"I believe that you don't belong to that trash." He murmured.

Alice spat at him in return.

"Don't touch me."

The Sanguine smirked, "Oh we'll see about that."
