A lonely newspaper reporter named Grace follows a spacecraft which has crashed outside her house and finds a strange robot called Orion.
She is told that if she wishes to continue existing, she must save him and stop him from becoming a whole, living being.
On her way she learns to traverse different planes of existence, in which she meets copies of herself that exist in every situation imaginable, but with one constant: she is always unhappy.
Orion belongs to Ettienne and Grace belongs to Steph.
