Billy

1/1

It wasn't his fault, honestly. He didn't choose to have a weak heart. It was his mother's fault. She couldn't keep her own body clean for a few nine months, just so her child could come out healthy. No, that was too much to ask for.

So when he was born, nineteen years ago, he had heart complications. Did his mother care? Of course not. And when he died nine years ago, did his mother care then? Of course not.

Did the doctors who worked so hard to get the poor ten year old little boy a heart care? No. The only thing that they cared about was their income, and how much money would make their secret affair companion happy.

That was reality though. The world didn't stop, just so my family and I could gather ourselves, no the world kept moving, ignoring our loss. The loss of such an innocent child shattered our entire world, it all fell apart.

Everything was in shambles, nothing was going in the right direction. We were headed for destruction.

But here we are today, alive, even if not so well. You remain in your memories until the day we meet you in heaven. Until that day I will pray for you every night. I will always remember your Billy, always.
