The "Other Girl"

I live with my dad

And my sister lives with my mom.
I’ve just always liked my dad better.
He treats me like I’m the only girl in his life
And, aside from Nonna, I am.
But sometimes, late at night when I can’t sleep,
I’ll sneak down the hall and
Look through the crack in his door
And I’ll see him staring at a picture of Mom and Gianna
And I can tell he wishes that I wasn’t the only girl.
