The "Other Girl"
My face turns bright red
And I snap,
“Sounds like the perfect part for you.”
Caitlin looks shocked, and says,
“What the hell did you just say?”
But before the cat fight can get any worse,
Nathan comes down the hallway,
And when he spots me, he says,
“Camilla! You’re auditioning?”
I nod, and he says,
“This is going to be great!”
And he gives me yet another hug.
I give Caitlin a look that probably says,
“I’m so much better than you,”
And when my name is called,
I walk into the audition like I’m
On top of the world.
And right now, I feel like I am.
“Sounds like the perfect part for you.”
