The "Other Girl"
I get a call back
Which, in all honesty,
Surprises me.
I haven’t been in a play since 5th grade
And now, all of the sudden,
I get a callback.
It comes and goes, and a week later,
Aubrey comes running down the hall towards me,
This huge smile on her face.
“Cam!” she says. “You got a part!”
I give her this look and say,
“What?”
“You are definitely perfect for it.”
“Aubrey, who’d I get?” I ask.
“Minnie!” she says.
“It’s perfect for you!”
Has everyone seen Hello, Dolly! but me?
