The "Other Girl"
Nonna calls me in the middle of practice.
Well, it’s not really the middle
(Hayley and I are just hanging out in the hallway)
But it’s still a little aggrivating.
“Come posso risolvere il mio computer?” she asks.
(“How do I fix my computer?”)
“Nonna, non ora! Sono con un amico,” I reply.
(“Nonna, not now! I’m with a friend.”)
“È un maschio? Come si chiama?”
(“Is it a boy? What’s his name?”)
“Sì, e il suo nome è Hayley.”
(“Yes, and his name is Hayley.”)
“Ma non avevi detto che era un ragazzo!”
(“I thought you said it was a boy!”)
“Egli è Nonna! Arrivederci!”
(“He is Nonna! Goodbye!”)
“Fare i suoi genitori lo odiano?”
(”Do his parents hate him?”)
“Arrivederci!”
(“Goodbye!”)
