The "Other Girl"

My smile just gets bigger.

“Thanks,” I say.
He smiles, and runs his hand
Through his hair.

“Really though,” he says,
“There’s no reason to
Get all dolled up just to see me.”
I roll my eyes and playfully punch his arm.

“What makes you think
I did this for you?”
I say, and he smirks.
“Have you seen me?”
I’m about to answer his question,
But the late bell rings.
“I’ll catch you later,” he says.
“Bye Camilla!”

As he runs down the hall to get to his class,
I yell out,
“Bye Hayley!”
