The "Other Girl"

Because now Caitlin’s giving me nasty looks in the hall
(Even nastier ones then before)
And one of her best friends shoved me into a locker
And called me something that sounded like
“Bitch,”
But it could’ve been
“Snitch.”
And someone dumped their tray of food
Down the front of my shirt in the cafeteria
"On accident,"
But I really know that's because Caitlin still thinks
That Nathan and I have something going on.

I skipped fourth block today
So I could go in the bathroom and cry about
Hayley
And Nathan
And Caitlin
And the fact that my favorite shirt was now ruined.

Dad only made things worse,
But I’m too afraid to tell anyone.
