I Can't Believe You're with Me after Dark

You wake up and take a shower and get dress in clothes that you left here. You go downstairs and cook for everyone. You sit down and start looking at dresses.

“Anna you want to look at dresses today?” Ashleigh asks.
“What about Tobias?” You ask.
“Todd and Michael can handle him.”

Todd comes in the kitchen looks at you two.

“What going on?” Todd asks.
“We going to get her dress,” Ashleigh said.
“Ok good.”

You laugh and look at him.

“You have to watch Tobias,” You said.
“Ok I’m going over to Jeremy’s anyways. Susie will be there,” Todd said.
“Thank god.”

Todd laughs and goes upstairs. You shake your head and Michael comes in with Todd.

“What going on?” Michael asks.
“We are going to watch Tobias at a friend’s house while they go do something for Anna’s Wedding,” Todd said.
“What are you doing?”
“We are going to find a dress,” You said.
“Shouldn’t you have a mom there?”
“Nope bye baby boy.”

You kiss Tobias’s forehead and smile at him.

“Call me if anything comes up. He might be cranky with not seeing Jacko for a while,” You told Todd.
“Go,” Todd said.
“Ok.”

You and Ashleigh go. She goes to a shop and pull up. You see May and hug her.

“Thanks for coming,” You said.
“Its fine come on let’s get a dress,” May said.

They pull you in and the lady looks at you.

“What do you want help with today ladies?” The woman asks.
“She is getting married,” Ashleigh said.
“Oh that’s great, how soon?”
“In October,” You mumble out.
“You came at a good time you have a vast selection to pick from here.”
“Thanks.”
“So look around and tell us if you need any help.”
“Ok.”

You all start looking at dresses. The pull out some dresses and you start changing in to them. You are in the last dress tired of looking.

“What is wrong with everything?” May asks.
“They just don’t fit in with the wedding. It’s small and simple and bright these are all for a church wedding,” You said.
“You picked out a lot of these.”
“I know.”

You look at yourself.

“You still not sure what wedding you want are you?” Ashleigh asks.
“We were going to get married next month if we didn’t start fighting,” You said.
“But you did. You are excited about this wedding way more than the first one. You get this smile when you talk about it that you never gotten before,” May said.
“I’m sure that I’m doing the right thing now.”
“Good. Now let’s look at some funnier dresses.”

You laugh and go and get change and start looking at other dresses. You go to one collection and pull out a dress you really like. Ashleigh and May comes over and look at you.

“I need straps I will most likely bend over to get my son at some point,” You said.
“That is very true,” They booth said.

You grab the dress and go back in the dressing room. You put it on and stare at yourself in the mirror.

“Anna, are you ok?” May asks knocking on the door.

You open the door and come out so they can see the dress.

“How do you like?” Ashleigh said.
“I love it,” You said,
“Really?”
“Really Really.”
“Then this is the dress,” May said.
“Do you think Jacko will like it?”
“Yeah.”

The worker came and smiles at you.

“That is a lovely dress on you. Few people buy from the collection just because of its name,” The worker said.
“What is the collection name?” Ashleigh ask.
“Essense of Australia.”

You giggle a little.

“It’s a perfect thing for my wedding then,” You said.
“You are getting married in Australia?” The worker asks.
“Yeah, the groom is from there.”
“It’s a sign,” May said.
“But would he like it?” You ask.

Ashleigh looks at you and goes and grabs the robe and cover the mirror where you can see only form your boobs up.

“Now tell me the girls don’t look good?” Ashleigh said.
“They can look better,” You said.
“They will when it’s fitted to you.”

The worker pulls it tight and look at you.

“What size are you?” She asks.
“Two,” You mumble out.
“Hold on I think we have one closer to your size.”

She leaves and Ashleigh smiles at you.

“Jacko will love it for two reasons,” Ashleigh said.
“What is that?” You said.
“One you love it and two it isn’t showing everything off. It’s not sexy and with the attention being on you it’s best not to be too sexy. If it was just a date outfit that would be iffy but with a wedding dress I see him want you to be more classy then sexy.”
“I understand.”

You look at yourself and the worker has a dress in her and hand and you go to the room and put the dress on and see it fits you exactly. You go out.

“Whoa that is a perfect fit,” May said.
“Besides it’s a little tight at the tummy area,” You said.

Ashleigh looks and starts shaking her head.

“No no no,” She said.
“What so what I got a tummy?” You said.
“No it’s a belly.”
“What no.”

You look and shake your head.

“It’s just how the dress looks,” You said.
“We are getting test after you buy the dress,” Ashleigh said.
“Ok.”

You smile and you guys buy the dress. You get it so it will be shipped to Jacko’s house. You go and go to a drug store and get test and start taking them. They all say positive. You sigh and go with Ashleigh to Jeremy’s and see Savy playing with Tobias while Michael watches them.

“Hey how did dress shopping go?” Susan asks.
“We got the dress it’s getting shipped to Jacko’s Compound,” You said.
“Really that quick?”
“They had one that fit perfectly already a girl brought it and then when she tried it on hated it and sold it back to the store.”
“Lucky.”
“Yeah it was half of the cost which is good.”
“Yeah.”

“MUMMA!” Tobias screams.
“Hey baby boy,” You say.
“Dada?”
“Do you need to talk to your dad?”

He smiles at you and crawled to you. You pick him up while calling Jacko.

“G’ day,” Jacko said.
“Hey How you doing?” You ask.
“Dadda?” Tobias said.
“I’m great but let me talk to the Joey for a bit. I think he won’t leave us alone till he talks to me,” Jacko said.
“Yeah hold on ok?”
“Ok.”

You put it on speaker and sit down. Tobias grabs it and starts talking to Jacko in his baby talk while Jacko talks right back him about what he is doing at Maddo’s. Tobias set the phone down and climbs off your lap and start playing with Savy again. You grab it and turn it off of speaker.

“What did you do today?” Jacko ask.
“I went dress shopping,” You said.
“You sound a little nervous.”
“I have some news, but I think it is best said in person.”
“Ok.”
“The wedding also has to be postponed.”
“Why?”
“I tell you when I get there.”
“This better be a good reason.”
“I think it is.”
“OK.”

You sigh a little knowing he is mad.

“Just tell me,” Jacko said.
“Hold on.”

You get up and go away from the other people.

“I’m most likely pregnant again,” You said.
“Really?” Jacko ask.
“Yeah.”
“Did you go to the doctors?”
“No but it would explain why I been sleepy and moody lately.”
“I thought it was stress. I set you up with an appointment after his birthday ok?”
“Ok.”
“I love you Sheila.”
“You are mad.”
“Not anymore.”
“Really?”
“Yes, this is a good reason to post pone the wedding. I just wish we didn’t already send the inventions out.”
“Shit we did didn’t we?”
“Yeah.”
“We can’t do that then.”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
“Ok Love.”
“I love you Jacko.”
“I love you too. Go spend some time with Todd before you come back here.”
“Ok bye.”
“Bye Love.”

You hang up and go over to everyone and start talking to Todd as he plays with Tobias.

“So why don’t you have Kids Todd?” Michael asks.
“Because I and Ashleigh are waiting to have them,” Todd said.
“You are good with kids both of you are ,” You said.
“Not as good as you think.”

“How was he eating lunch?” you ask.
“He was good. He ate once we gave up and let Savy feed him,” Susan said.
“Thank you for feeding him Savy.”
“You are welcome Anna. I had fun,” Savy said.
“I bet you did.”

“Is he going to be your only kid?” Michael asks.
“No we going to have at less one other,” You said.
“Right.”

Todd looks at you and pulls you away from everyone.

“Are you pregnant again?” Todd asks.
“Yeah,” You said.
“Dear lord Anna.”
“I know ok.”
“Are you putting the wedding off?”
“No.”
“Ok.”

You hug Todd and he sighs.

“I worry about you sometimes Anna,” Todd said.
“I know,” you said.
“Are you worried?”
“Yeah, Tobias isn’t even one yet and I’m pregnant again. This kind of thing isn’t smart.”
“I can tell.”

You go over and Tobias came over to you and smiles at you. You smile and kiss his forehead. You guys talk a little more before Michael leaves.

“He doesn’t like me anymore either,” You said.
“He has a hard time with you growing up. Not like me but the fact you have a kid and getting married and having a very good sense of what life is going to be like is not what he is used to,” Todd said.
“I always know what I want. I might change but life has always been plan out for me.”
“I know I think he doesn’t knows that since he hasn’t spend time with you or think it’s wrong that you live in Australia like you living the family.”
“It most likely will be till after the wedding when we move back here.”
“I understand that.”

You guys talk before it’s time for the airport.

You get to Australia and see Jacko. He runs up and warps his arms around you. You smile and kiss his lips. He smiles at you and grab Tobias. He open his eyes and smile before going back to sleep.

“Do you need anything before we get home?” Jacko ask.
“I’m not cooking,” You said.
“It’s ok I got it under control Shelia.”

You smile and he helps you in the car and takes your bag and put it in the back after putting Tobias in. He gets in and drives home. You get out and see Tobias awake. You get him and he starts hitting your hands away.

“Dada,” Tobias said.

Jacko comes and look at him.

“Don’t hit Mum,” Jacko said.

Jacko got him out and hand him to you. You go inside. Jacko puts the bags down and grab him.

“Go to sleep I got him for a bit,” Jacko said.
“Ok,” You said.

You kiss Jacko’s lips. He smiles at you and kiss your forehead. He rubs your stomach a little and smiles wider.

“I’m going to say it,” Jacko said.
“Yeah,” You said.

You go to the bedroom and lay down. You hear Jacko talking to Tobias a little. You smile and go to bed.
